There were electrical circuits that kept clicking on and off inside the wall all night. I couldn't sleep at all because of this. I am obsessive compulsive and one of my obsessions is dying in a fire caused by faulty electric circuits. I almost left the hotel because I was so tired but that's the reason I stopped to begin with. The cost of the room was $40 more than I was expecting after a goggle search. I should've just booked the room out in the parking lot and saved the money. It was way too expensive for the lack of comfort. The front desk clerk told me the wrong time for breakfast ending (she said 10 but it was 9) so when I finally got a bit of sleep and woke up at 9:15 and went down to get breakfast it was all being cleaned up. I left hungry and angry. I will never stay at this hotel again and I am leaning towards putting Comfort Suites franchise on my no go zone. I will definitely tell everyone I know to avoid. Front desk help this morning was unsympathetic and wouldn't give me contact info for management. Having worked in a hotel myself, I know he could've offered a discount on my terrible stay but he just impassively listened to my complaints and said he would tell someone. How does that help me??????
Oh and also my room was dirty and everything was stained. Like the carpet and the couch. Again, I was too tired when I got to the hotel to complain and ask for a room change but since we are reviewing my stay, that was also disappointing. The walls in the bathroom haven't been wiped down in a while. You should let the housekeepers know they should check on that sort of thing. I would say that the quality of the room was maybe worth $50 at a stretch. I should've paid more and stayed somewhere actually...
Read moreThe point of sale system they use will make multiple charges to your account which you better be ready for, to the tune of sometimes more than double your stay price, and the staff are incompetent to explain why that will happen or fix the problem immediately. They have ice machines on all three floors, but they have unplugged them all to save money on electricity. When you do ask for ice, you’ll have to go all the way down to the front desk, and then they will either fill your bucket behind a wall from a bag of ice , or go to the fridge inside the breakfast kitchen to pull ice cubes from a tray; both methods without gloves. If you have a stay longer than a few days you run the risk of returning to your room to find you’ve been locked out because they have checked you out in error (this happened to members of our group). When you ask to not be distributed and or specifically request to not have maid service, it takes harping on the matter up to but not limited to 3 times before they will stop violating your privacy. The “breakfast” you are paying for is a joke, and frequently late in its preparation, incurring a delay in whatever plans or scheduling one may have; plus the breakfast area doesn’t seem to be cleaned after every day use. The fitness room is not cleaned daily and one of the only three machines doesn’t even work. I could go on, but I think my point is clear. There are plenty of other hotels to choose from in the area that will most likely be a better experience for you....
Read moreI haven't stayed at too many hotels, however, this experience is far beyond my best! From the moment we called ahead of reserving, the staff was pleasant, helpful, and extremely friendly. Upon arrival, the front desk clerk, I believe his name was Steven, was wonderful. I was nearly exhausted and just needed to relax and he was so friendly, that it made my family's one night stay exceptional. He went above and beyond to make sure we reserved a room that would work for us (it can be difficult with a 2 year old), even showing us two rooms to make sure we would be comfortable. Which we ended up choosing a different room than we had originally booked. He also made sure we had enough linens for the sofa bed. I absolutely loved the bed linens, the comforter especially. It was not the standard roughish blanket with a cover on it, rather, it was a down or down alternative-like comforter and those are the best! Truth be told, the breakfast could have been better, I was a tad disappointed that there wasn't any bacon (who wouldn't be?), but the options that were there, were very tasty. My daughter actually something so I was pleased. The check out process was extremely simple. If I had one word to describe my stay at this hotel it would be, excellent. And even that doesn't seem to fully explain my appreciation for how well my family's visit was. I would definitely stay here again, and definitely recommend this hotel to anyone! Thank you...
