Pretty awful experience I had today, stopped by to see if I could score a good deal on an inexpensive generator since we got hit pretty hard by that tornado in cypress. Found a fairly new Predator 3500, asking was 575. It’s a pawnshop, there are no retail prices and knowing I should save a few bucks I asked the manager/owner “575 out the door?” She very rudely said no 575 + tax that is a deal, to which I answered “cmon I want to do business with you help me out , harbor freight has them for 699 and proceeded to show her the online pricing. She very rudely answer “well then go buy it from them then” and walked away.

Lady get over yourself, you lost a sale because you were greedy you tried to make a 3-400% roí and I ended up going to HF picking up 2 6500 predators for 599. I never asked for a lower price m, I didn’t ask 500,525,550 out the door, I accepted your high price and all I asked was no tax but apparently you took offense to that. This is the most horrible pawn experience I’ve ever had in my life. Employee (young lady) rolled her eyes, made contempt full gestures, spoke to me like I was an idiot, acted like I ruined her day just by walking in the door. Don’t all want my business or not? Was treated like I was an absolute whites trash piece of crap, which I am not. I am an educated, middle class, published author, a leader and mentor in my field as well as mentoring at a major university. Customers who spend their money in this establishment should be treated with at least a little bit of dignity and respect. I felt like I was an inmate in a prison. I’ll be back in two days to pay for a retrieve my property, in which case afterward plan to do everything humanly possible to share my message of my experience with others. Why?
