Target — Local services in College Station

If I could give this location 0 stars, I would. The first time we ever went to this Target, a man closely followed us around the entire time, from when we arrived to when we left. We thought it was sketchy but we just kind of ignored it because we knew we weren't doing anything wrong. After what happened here today AGAIN I will absolutely not be returning. 2 friends and I went into this Target today to get some pajamas for an event later this weekend. As soon as we walked into the store, we noticed the SAME man following us. He wasn't even being discrete about it, he was closely following us wherever we went; clothes section, makeup section, and even to get some groceries. After walking around the clothes section for a few minutes, he came up and accused me of trying to steal something that I HAD IN MY HAND that I had just picked up. I told him that I had absolutely planned on paying for everything that I was carrying around with me and he walked away. However, about 2 minutes later we noticed him following us very closely (1-2 feet behind us) AGAIN for no reason. Any aisle we went to, any corner we turned, he was there. After the clothes section we went to makeup and then to get some groceries and he still wouldn't leave us alone. We had more stuff to get but we wanted to leave because he was making us feel so uncomfortable. He literally followed us all the way to the cash register and he watched us pay for everything and still followed us until we left the store. This was absolutely an invasion of privacy and needs to be handled. We weren't even doing anything wrong and we have never taken anything from any store before that. This is now the SECOND time this has happened and I will not go somewhere where the employees follow their customers around and harass them for no reason. I am trying to get ahold of corporate to get this man fired, but a google review will have...

Tonight one of my gal pals REALLY wanted to watch ‘13 going on 30’ and we all wanted to do face masks and find moisturizer for the night. So of course we chose Target as our destination for our adventure and researched if they had the movie in store, which they did! Upon arrival we stressfully selected our face products and made our way to the movie section. After searching with no results, we sought help. A sweet and handsome gentleman came to our rescue, Garrett. He took on the task to find our movie as if our life depended on it cause “it looks like one of those days.” He went to the back to search more and our hearts leaped with joy because we were so close to accomplishing our mission. Unfortunately he came back empty handed, yet while in the back did further researched and told us of a few immediate and affordable options so that we could have our movie night. Truly exquisite customer service and genuine improvement of our nights. Thank you Garrett! P.S....

During the Christmas season, I was so impressed with the employees at this location. All of the employees I've interacted with, even the ones stocking shelves were genuinely cheerful and helpful. While I was letting my kids be distracted by playing in the toy aisle while my wife was shopping, I had a very positive, brief conversation with an employee stocking shelves with toys. She genuinely seemed happy to work there and to help. Another time while I was making a return, I saw the shift manager giving all of his employees high fives and saying how awesome they were. When checking out I was always wished a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and were oftentimes offered stickers for my children. I am really impressed by the way this Target location has hired and trained excellent employees. They also make excellent efforts at keeping their location clean and well organized.
