I have to update my review after this remodel.
I hate it!!! Starbucks is gross. Why replace the cafe which was fun and inviting with popcorn amd real coffee with pretentious bitter Starbucks. Yuck.
Prices aren't anywhere to be found.
Sales are not marked properly. Random t-shirt sales sign on a rack of coats for example.
The toddler girls section is the tiniest section ever. Worst selection - character clothes are loud and trashy, cat n jack brand is bizarre with coats and shirts that have crystals and definitions of crystals written on the backs of shirts. Bought a pair of cat n jack leggings for my 8 year old and they were competely faded after one wear and wash. Worst selection ever. Also, when I finally picked up a cat n jack shirt, the tag didn't have a price on it. There were not markings on the shelf to advertise the price, so I guess Target didn't want to sell it, so I let them keep it. Cat n' Jack is not priceless, Target.
Went looking for shoes... still haven't found them. There was crappy cat n jack shoes by the girls section. I don't want to buy that brand though.
Went looking for magazines. The selection was terrible. Hardly any room for magazines.
I quit after not finding the classic Target items and experience I am used to. I just have to remember not to come back. This remodel was the worst thing ever. I want my Target back.
Might as well call yourselves Cat N Jack's. Or... JCPenny. They tried to fix something that wasn't broken, too, and they're never going to bounce back.
Oh, I told a cashier about my experience where she promptly walked over to another cashier and started whispering. So much for the helpful staff in my previous review. The cashier told me where to find magazines. I told her I saw their magazine section. My complaint is that there was nothing to pick from. Worst target experience ever. Not coming back.
2016: One of my most favorite Target stores in Colorado Springs. Helpful staff and everything you would expect...
Read moreThe blonde woman who works at the customer service at this location is under the table vending out all of the sports cards. When the sports cards come in she is messaging a friend and selling them all of the sports cards in the case instead of selling them to only one person at a time which is the rule at this location. For instance today I called in at 2:45 & they said they had them in stock so myself and a friend drove there separately to grab a pack for ourselves. My friend beat me there and the blonde woman told him someone has already came there and bought all of them and she said that a new person sold the customer before him the whole case not knowing it was only one per person. Then I came in there to purchase them after he told me what she said and the blonde woman interrupted the male employee to tell me that she had been there since 10:30 and they had been sold out since then. A) I called at 2:45 and they were still there so that’s a lie. B) She told a completely different story to my friend who went in 3 minutes before me. C) This is the same blonde woman who was in there last week when I called and drove over. She told me that someone came in and then called 30 of their friends in the 5 minutes time to come buy all of the cards. Let’s be honest that’s nearly impossible, she’s texting the person to come in and he’s paying her to sell all of the cards to him. Completely unfair & I hope she loses her job, not to mention shes been completely rude every single time we’ve came in and acts like we’re bothering her, NEWS FLASH YOU WORK AT THE CUSTOMER...
Read moreCame in to search for items for my husband's birthday. I haven't t been in this store for years but I will definitely be back! I was able to actually walk around this store without employee carts blocking half the aisles. And when I had a question about the price of an air fryer oven on the shelf a friendly employee helped me find out if it was the correct price, and although it was in the wrong spot on the shelf, it was only a difference of $20.00 and I still considered it a very good price. I decided to buy it and the friendly female employee helped me by putting it in my cart. In other stores ( like Walmart) I can't generally even find an employee to ask a question and if I do they generally have a bad attitude and treat a question as an annoyance. I also managed to find what I wanted for my husband's birthday, and Not only did I get what I needed for a more than fair price. The atmosphere was calm, the store was tidy, especially for such a large store, and sections " made sense". The cashier was also friendly and welcomed me back as a customer after I mentioned that I had not shopped there for years! What a lovely change from the shops I had been frequenting! I was losing faith in all businesses, but now I know there are still stores where the customers are appreciated Great job Target and your employees....
