Keep shopping. First of all, the other reviews are terrifying. Photos of the rooms are 100% accurate. Dated decor with peeling, warped wallpaper, a random Ethernet cable just hanging out on the floor that disappears under a wall and has no end on it, and moldy vents. The room is otherwise pretty clean, but man, what a disappointment overall. Location is phenomenal. Came for the Arnold Classic and super happy with the quick drive. You do definitely get charged for parking in the hotel lot. $10 a night isn’t a bank breaker but it’s extremely annoying. You will get charged for wifi unless you have a Bonvoy account which is free to sign up for. $6.95/day or $12.95/day depending on the speed you want if you have no Bonvoy. There is no free breakfast, the little grill in the hotel charges $30 a person, I have no desire to test the food at $30 a person. One other note - the service is 50/50. When we first got to the desk, we were greeted by a gentleman who had the warmth of a rock in Alaska. I had to print something and came right back and he was gone. The woman who helped us next was amazing. She was kind and professional and very helpful. The gentleman had switched my room, though, from a single king to a double full without asking me first if that was even okay. I had purposely booked a single king when I made the reservation. It worked out fine, and the nice woman was willing to fix it for me asap, but pretty irking for the guy to just do that to people. 1 star for him, 5 for her. All in all, I do not recommend this one unless it’s the only hotel left in the area with a room.

I recently stayed at the Marriott at the Columbus Airport and was really disappointed with the experience. The photos online are very misleading. The room was uncomfortably hot, even with the AC turned all the way down. It just wouldn’t cool off. One of the outlets (a GFCI near the sink) was actually coming out of the wall, which felt unsafe and definitely not up to the standard I expect from a Marriott. The fountain shown in the pictures is no longer in operation, and the property overall feels neglected. There’s no breakfast bar—just a single staff member serving a basic plate with eggs, overcooked bacon, toast, and a slice of orange. Definitely not what you’d expect. The coffee stand is gone (just an empty space now), and staff were rarely around. The whole place had an eerie, ghost-town feel. Unfortunately, this stay didn’t meet expectations at all. I wouldn’t return unless there are some serious improvements. Marriott needs to do a site survey and possibly shut this location down.

Nice hotel. Would like to see it get a lil' face-lift but still a great place to stay. This was my second overnight and slowly becoming one of my top. It's in a nice walking distance area of shops and eateries. My room was comfortable, good temp, clean, and spacious. It had a mini fridge but no microwave, unfortunately. Other than that, I personally love longer pillows. They alwayz seem to play a big role in a good nights rest. With that said, I definitely got some much needed rest w/ out those small square pillowz most hotels have now dayz. The morning staff were very pleasant, especially the man who greeted us with such a welcoming attitude in the dining area. He insisted in asking if we needed anything more and was so accommodating. I definitely look forward to more stayz here in the future to come.

I am highly disappointed in my stay here at this Marriott. I am traveling with work and after a long 6 hour travel day the first thing I want is to get to my room and just rest. Well, I couldn't even do that. We get to the front desk and are met with these two lovely ladies who were very friendly and they gave us our room key. We get up to our room, and mind you the walk to the elevators from the service desk is a whiles away, so we get upstairs to our room to find that we received keys to a room that was not cleaned and was being occupied by someone else. This definitely isn't safe or reassuring in any way shape or form.

We then get back to the front desk, let them know the situation, and they proceed to give us a new room. We get upstairs to find that our room was downgraded, and upon walking into the room, it smells so bad. Since I was only supposed to be here for two days, my partner and I just decided to suck it up, spray something and get to resting. Well, again, we were not able to because now our AC isn’t working. We call down to the front desk and they tell us that they are going to make a call to maintenance and that they were going to send someone up to fix it. 2 hours pass and no one came so we left for dinner.

We come back and they still have yet to fix our AC. We had it set to 60 degrees and it felt like 75 in the room. I end up calling again and they said they're going to send someone to which I say that they already said this, no one came and that I was getting frustrated because nothing was happening. NO one came again and it is now 1:30 am, I call the front desk and I explain myself once more. The lady on the phone proceeds to leave me on hold for 25 minutes but they end up saying that they're going to move us yet again to another room. So, at the end of it all, we pack up our things and proceed to switch rooms around 2:30AM after a long day of work and travel.

We finally get to our room only to find that this room, you guessed it, HAS A BROKEN AC. I am soaked because the room is sweltering hot and sat in front of the fridge trying to cool myself off before sucking it up and taking a cold shower. I am sitting here writing this in said room, where I yet again was told by someone from the front desk that someone was going to come fix this. Well, its been almost another hour (after already asking them about it this morning) and nothing has changed and no one has even bothered to call me back. I have been nothing but kind in every interaction, but this is where I draw the line. This is ridiculous and I am astonished at how poor this Marriott's...

This review has nothing to do with the staff as they were great.... However, upon checking I wanted to pay for my room in advance and was told 3 times that my card was declined and didn’t have the funds available, (the charge was $497 I had $600 available on it)which it was my travel card I always I put what I’m going to spend on that particular card. After transferring the money that was clearly on my card to my daughters card, the staffer realized she had forgotten about the $35 daily charge the hotel charges which increased the amount and so even though she told me $497, the charge was higher than my card amount plus the taxes/fees. Go figure, other than that the staff was fine. The hotel as a whole though, not impressed. Got there starved so we ordered 2 pasta dinner dishes and 4 bottles of water....$70!!!!!! WHAT!!!! Of course the person that brought it to the room didn’t have change so they got $80..... The food wasn’t good at all, but after spending $80 we ate it like it was a prime steak!!! That was day 1. Day 2 we ate out that evening & brought back leftovers, opened the lil freezer & the smell almost killed us. There was some food already in there that someone left and has never been checked.... UGH. Later that night, (2am) the AC stopped coming on. I tried adjusting the thermostat to 69 & still nothing... The next day (day3) after returning from a long day, the AC was not working, I called the front desk & told them and they sent maintenance. He came in, said he doesn’t know why it was happening & offers me a “box fan” to have if it continues. AM I BEING PUNKED!!!! I accepted the fan (clearly I was over it at this time). My daughter then ordered a pizza from the hotel, why, because it was Easter and everything else was closed. She ordered a personal individual size pizza for $11.00 and I swear I’ve seen plate saucers bigger than that thing!!! It was literally the size of a new roll of toilet paper!!! I was so done & never so ready to come back home 4 days & 3 nights were way too long!! I’ve never felt so prompt to write a review for...

This was an absolutely terrible experience, probably our worst experience EVER at a Marriott property. As a Marriott lifetime Platinum member I expected more for a suite night upgrade reward I used. The room smelled!; the bed was old, smelled gross and the sheets didn’t fit. The room was poorly cleaned. The view out the window looking at trees grown up directly outside the window was like a bad joke. The TV’s were old and the one in the bedroom had bad reception and was unwatchable. I understand amenities are affected by covid, but it’s a huge contrast to other Marriott properties. We were rebooked by a wonderful and helpful Marriott customer service manager to the Downtown LeVeque and they had EVERYTHING open and were serving customers. The staff there was exceptional, welcoming and the room there was fantastic . At your property we had a hard time even getting a receptionist staffer to assist us. We saw NO OTHER employees to assist with our stay. The fact that there was no ability to get a snack or even a limited food/restaurant option is terrible. On top of it all, I was charged for 4 nights but we only stayed the one night and we moved to the LeVeque at 7:00am to stay the other 3 nights. Please fix my bill! As a matter of fact I don’t think we should even pay for the first night. A refund for that one night would be appropriate. I am not a high maintenance person, but the standards for me and my wife for our one night stay was waaaay below adequate for a Marriott property. Unfortunately I don’t have a single thing that made for a relaxing or enjoyable trip. Even funnier was that your shuttle was “broken down” and could not provide transportation from the airport nor back at the conclusion of our trip (if we had stayed all four nights). I expected a much better experience from a “full service” Marriott property. Again, we were TERRIBLY disappointed with our brief stay. Please take the 3 nights off my bills and it would be appropriate to refund our single night stay there. With Great...
