Worst Hotel service Ive ever gotten. I understand staff are just doing their job and dont make the rules. But they need to do better as a hotel and staff. My brother in law made the reservation for me because he is a reward ambassador and as a reward ambassador he gets special perks. So he made the reservation for me and told them his sister in law (me) would be the one staying at the hotel and that they needed to add my name. So he gave them my name. And paid with my card. When I got to the hotel they told me I couldn’t get into my room because the reservation was under my brother in laws name. As I stated before my name was supposed to be attached to the reservation as well but apparently for some reason that didn’t happen. I was told I could make a new reservation and pay the $312 AGAIN because they would not give me a refund for the room I already paid for because it was non refundable. Which that was not happening because I already reserved a room and paid for the room. They just wouldn’t let me in due to their mistake! My brother in law had to call higher ups in the rewards ambassador customer service to get this resolved. When the rewards representative called the hotel they accused their fellow hotel company employee of not being a real employee and demanded that the representative send a company issued email and then they would fix it. After awhile it was finally fixed. But well I was waiting the same thing happened to another girl who’s mom had paid with points for her daughter and the hotel would not give her the room and made the poor girl have her mom send her almost $300 for the room. Even though the room was reserved and paid for in reward points already! All of that is messed up and the hotel wouldnt take accountability for any of it. As I mentioned earlier, my brother in law is a rewards ambassador and gets special perks. Because of this I was handed a card that said I got $10 at their convenience store each day that I was there. The first night I bought 2 waters, the next I bought lemonade and a bag of candy, and the last day I bought 2 waters. Each time I was there I looked for something that said the prices of the items but I didnt see anything. Nor was I told I owed anything other than the $10 or that they were going to charge my card. They ended up charging my card $12.26. When I called to ask why, they said it was because of the items I bought at the convenience store. I explained to them everything . And they said that the pricing is on the otherside of the wall from where the snacks are. I looked 3 different times and didn’t see pricing. Seems like they put it away from the snacks especially so that people dont see it. I explained I wasnt told about the price and I wasn’t told that I owed anything other than the $10 either. And I was just told I would eventually get a call back from the manager. All of the actions were sneaky and deceptive on these 2 situations. I will not be going back to this certain hotel again! I will give a nice review to the desk clark who did give me free water and cheese crackers to me one night as a birthday gift as it was my birthday. I do appreciate that. But this location needs to take accountability...
Read moreWe stayed at this hotel from Wednesday, 6/18 to 6/22. On the morning of 6/18, around 3 AM, we noticed the hotel had experienced a power outage, and when we woke up at 7 AM, the room was unbearably hot. The outage caused the refrigerator to stop working, and we lost all the food we had brought for the week. We were in town for a convention with cosplay events, and not having power meant we couldn't get ready for the event, which was a major inconvenience, especially since cosplay requires time and financial investment. Additionally, the toilet in our room stopped flushing, though we weren't sure if this was related to the power issue. While we understand that the power outage was beyond the hotel’s control, it was frustrating that two hotels across the street had power, which we confirmed while we were out grabbing breakfast. This also impacted our $25 breakfast add-on, as we requested a refund for the first day’s breakfast and were told no refund would be issued. The hotel said they might find a different solution, but no solution was provided.
Upon returning to the hotel later in the day, the power was back, but the elevators were still out of order. We were told it would be fixed the next day, but for our entire stay, we were without an elevator, and since we were on the third floor and my wife's pregnant, it became very inconvenient. My wife also reminded the front desk about the toilet issue, and they promised to send someone up to repair it, but I was able to easily solve the issue with the power back on before the technician arrived. The technician was dismissive when we explained we had handled it ourselves, scoffed and waved me off without a word.
The following morning, we went downstairs to get our $25 breakfast. The front desk staff was unclear about how to redeem it and insisted we provide an itemized receipt showing we paid for the breakfast, even though our reservation clearly stated breakfast was included. After some back-and-forth, we were told we could have breakfast that day, but we would need to provide proof of payment in the future. We called Hotels.com, who confirmed we had paid for the breakfast, but the hotel still insisted on itemized receipts. On the last day, another staff member confirmed that breakfast was indeed part of our reservation.
The only positive aspect of our stay was the kind server who managed the café. She was pleasant, efficient, and made sure we were taken care of every morning, despite being busy.
We still have not received the $25 refund for the first breakfast and are concerned the breakfast charges may have been applied to our room at checkout. Out of all the staff we interacted with, only two were kind and helpful. Due to the numerous issues we faced, we will not be...
Read moreI was on Federal Government travel, and stayed for 25 nights. I had several issues during my stay.
Upon check-in, I immediately gave the front desk person my tax exempt certificates. The lady said she will give it to the manager and if there were any issues, they would let me know. I was not contacted by anyone, and once I received my bill on the last day, there were $468.25 in taxes on my bill, and they would not remove them. They stated that "this property does accept tax exempt certificates." This should have been brought to my attention within the first 48 hours of my stay. Now I am in process of getting my employer to pay or negotiate with your company about the taxes.
When reviewing hotels, I selected this property based on information online. There was a restaurant that had breakfast, indoor pool, fridge and microwave. My first morning there, I went to the lobby to have breakfast, and it turns out it was not free. This is the first hotel I stayed at that breakfast and coffee were not included. As for the restaurant, it was a bistro, and very expensive as well. My first night, I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup. The food was barely editable. The sandwich did not taste very well, and the soup was very chunky, not anything what I was expecting. Somewhere between my 15th and 18th day, the pool broke, and was never fixed. One of the main reasons for selecting this hotel was because of the indoor pool, and I was unable to use it during 1/3 of my stay. Upon arrival in my room, there was no fridge or microwave in my room. I asked at the front desk, and I had one later in the evening, but no microwave until about the 3rd day of my stay. This should have been my room from the beginning.
On my third night, I was eating a salad in my room, and I dropped a piece of lettuce on the floor. Normally I would pick it up, but I didn't, and the next afternoon when I returned to my room, it was still there. Since it was not picked up, I decided to leave it there. When I checked out, it was still on the floor of my room, which means my floor was never vacuumed during my entire 25 day stay.
The hotel was very noisy, I understand that near an airport, there are people coming and going all times of the day. I was woken up many times from people slamming doors, and yelling down the hallway in the middle of the night.
My last weekend there, Saturday around 2:30 AM, I was woken up by people...
