If I could give them zero stars I would. I placed a online delivery order on 1/29. 1 the works add mozzarella and 1 grilled. Chicken, bacon, banana peppers. Upon arriving both pizzas looked like they had slid off the seat. The chicken, bacon, banana pepper did not have any banana peppers. I immediately called the location and was met with the worse customer service ever. I was initially hung up on after being placed on hold, and that was after I could hear some of the employees "giggling" about my frustration. I immediately called back and was placed on hold for 10 minutes. The manager a purple haired lady...has the worse attitude. I advised that there must have been a glitch in the system because she claimed that she didn't see where I had ordered the banana peppers. She didn't even ask for me to bring in my phone so that she could see the error. I advised that I would Call Donatos corporate on Monday...she didn't care. I sat down very frustratingly to eat the "works" pizza and several slices in was met by a medium length red curly hair. My hair currently waist length, blonde, and straight. I then called back again were she advised that I could bring those two pizzas back and get two brand new ones. I agreed...although had I wanted to leave my house I would have done that to begin with. Upon arrival not a 1 person had a hair net on. And at this location you can see straight through to the people making the pizzas. The manager is condescending and gave half hearted apologies. Still no banana peppers on my pizza and no request to see my phone that had record of my order. After continuing to receive her nasty attitude I requested my delivery fee be refunded to my card. She begrudgingly complied. And when I made a statement regarding the lack of hair nets and I asked admit-tingly being facetious...was my pizza hair free. Her response was well I'm not working back there so i don't know if your pizza has hair on it or not. I advised her that if as a manager her attitude is like that, I can't expect any different from her staff. Upon arrival home...I live 9 minutes away and ride with the heat on full blast. Both pizzas were ice cold. I will never order from this...
Read moreI love Donatos pizza and try to eat at a Donatos every time I come to Columbus. However, I Will NEVER order from the 1508 N. Cassady Avenue location ever again. I placed an online order at 7:35 p.m. (a medium pizza and two breadsticks...very basic, no special requests). Via email was told that my order would arrive at 8:19 p.m. and that was quickly modified saying that they were "running a bit behind" and would now be arriving between 8:28 and 8:32 p.m. Not a big deal and figured that maybe the slight delay was due to the bad weather that Columbus was experiencing. As we were only staying .3 miles away a few more minutes would not hurt. At 8:34 I called, after being transferred, spoke to a man who told me that my order was on the way. At 8:55 I made my second call and after being transferred I spoke to the same man and told him that I had called 25 minutes prior and was told that my order was on the way and it still had not arrived...mind you I was .3 miles away! He asked me to hold and 12 minutes later I hung up as he never came back on the line. Frustrated does not even properly describe my feelings! At 9:07 p.m. I made yet another call. Again, after being transferred, I spoke to the same man, and told him NOT to put me on hold again for an additional 12 minutes and that I was very upset that he put me on and never came back to answer my questions or give me an update on my order. He started to make some kind of excuse, I cut him off and said that at this time it had been almost two hours and I wanted to know if I needed to go somewhere else for my dinner. He stammered and said yes. What an absolute joke. Unfortunately, I did not get the man's name (and I use the term "man" lightly) as I was blatantly lied to when I was told that my order was on the way. Why lie??? Whoever owns this location should really evaluate their employees. I guess I should have paid more attention to the 3.1 rating. This experience doesn't even...
Read moreIf there was a button for negative stars, this Donatos would get a negative 5. I have had several messed up orders from this location. However this last issue is the straw that has confirmed I will never order from this location again.
2 of the 3 pizzas was wrong.
Jeff, the very poor customer service manager, who should consider a career change, was not helpful. My total was close to $50.00 and he offered me an $8.00 credit. Actually, the last time they messed up my ordered and offered me a $3.00 credit I never received the credit. They added Cheese to a pizza ordered with NO CHEESE and cost me 19.70, and at the time they were having a flash sale for a one topping pizza for 10.00. We ordered a 2 topping pizza that cost 15.89, and they did not put the second topping on the pizza. Without the second topping I could have just gotten the flash sale deal for a one topping pizza for 10.00. When I asked Jeff to explain to me how he came up with an $8.00 credit his very snotty response was "because that is the decision I made". So Jeff could not validate how he came up with that number. That's okay Jeff, I will take the loss on this one. Keep the $8.00. I am done with your location. Keep your pizza. Hope it was worth it, we order a lot of pizza for various functions. Also, since this incident I have already told 10 people about my...
