I have some pros and cons about this place, I want to start with the pros
(Pros) Austin was very knowledgeable and very helpful, understanding and worked with me and was very patient. Austins customer service also was great. The store is very nice on the inside.
(Cons) I took two decently valued laptops to this location in hopes to trade for one really nice laptop. I came in the store and brought them in to be looked at and it kind of felt as if the offer for what they wanted to give me for trade in wasn’t very competitive and wasn’t very much negotiable, and the laptop I wanted I was told it ranges from 1,200$ to 1,500$, well I am kicking my self because this laptop is in decent condition and defiantly not new as for there are visible signs of wear on the keyboard and the factory warranty is almost out, but after doing research later I came to find out that this exact laptop sells brand new for 999$ before taxes at micro center with 25 of them in stock in store ready for pickup within 20 minutes, I paid 913$ after taxes for this laptop. 700$ trade in for the laptops I brought and 213$ out of my pocket. For 170$ more I could’ve bought this laptop brand new at a local store It honestly just felt like another game stop experience except dealing with higher end valuables. The craziest part is they had it posted for 1050$ 51$ more then what it retails. This isn’t just one of those “you should’ve done your research about what you were purchasing” (this is a comment I saw on another review to another person with a similar situation) because I already chalked up the fact that I was already paying a lot for a used laptop as for I wanted it and thought I was saving a few hundred bucks but I just wasn’t aware until later that evening that it had been that bad of a deal. With that being said it should be the stores Job to check these things also (in which I’m sure it was) just so customers like me don’t pay full price for used merchandise. Especially when I brought in two gaming laptops for them to get even more profit on. I personally do feel like they could’ve been more flexible with the laptop cost and my trade in, I do feel like I was taken advantage of. A part of me wants to go return this laptop and go get this brand new but even more I’d like for them to...
Read morePlaced an order at 2PM on Saturday for an iPad. Emailed last night (Monday night) asking why the order hadn’t been shipped yet. Called just now (11AM Monday) since I Didn’t receive a response or shipping notification this morning, and to Dalton Who said that they have no “fraud protection” on their website, So they text a code to you for pictures of your ID for identity verification. I advised him that I received nothing of the sorts, and I also placed an order from their Raleigh store for an iPad eight months ago and this was not required. I wrote a five star review for that store after my order based on the fact that they shipped my order the same day and I received it the next day, I was highly satisfied with my experience with them, which was why I decided to order my daughter’s new iPad from the same company (just this location had the iPad I wanted). It seems like the ball was dropped on my order and excuses are being made and I’m highly upset because my toddler lost her tablet and the new one I ordered hasn’t even been...
