Rangoli - The Indian Mall — Local services in Columbus

RANGOLI SAVED THE DAY!! My cousin got married on Saturday. The day before the wedding, we found out that the airline lost the luggage containing the groomsmen's kurtas! Talk about a panic!! We had a two hour window on Friday evening to search Columbus for three matching kurtas, in three different sizes, in dark green, and bonus if they have gold accents like the lost kurtas... After having no luck at multiple shops, we found Rangoli 30 minutes before closing. It was so beautiful, even from the outside, and it was two stories tall. It was our best and last hope to find something for the groomsmen to wear to the wedding the following day. When we explained our circumstances, the staff was so incredibly helpful! They split up to try to find something that could work. I felt like they were treating this situation as if it was their own event on the line. We were searching, and coming up empty. Then, miraculously, one of the saleswomen came up the stairs with three matching kurtas in hand, dark green, gold trim, and in the three exact sizes we needed. Honestly, I had to hold back tears! There was so much joy from everyone about this huge success! If I am ever in the need, I would absolutely ALWAYS go to Rangoli first! They have a large and beautiful selection, but more importantly, we were treated with such warmth, hospitality, and concern to help with our situation. Original review: The clothes are beautiful and the quality is decent, but check every zipper and every stitch. They are still trying to get their act together so I would recommend waiting to buy anything unless you truly need something. Even then, check and recheck, and check again, because NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES. So buy at your own risk. Also beware of the tailoring. Try it on before you leave the store with it, I had to get alterations done twice because no measurements were taken and they were done incorrectly the first time. I have high hopes for this place and hope they do well. But buyer beware.

Update: I removed my old review because I thought the problem was resolved, but it was not. After 6 weeks and 6 more visits and trying the outfit on at least 8 more times I was told they would give me a refund. I went into the store yesterday, they issued a refund for the wrong amount on the wrong item, (the item was $250 - see picture - and the refund issued was for the sale price plus sales tax on a $240 item). They must really need that extra $10. Make sure to not only check your outfits, but CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS before they rob you as well.

What a wonderful experience thank you to the staff here who helped my boyfriend and I out! We have an Indian wedding to attend in December, and we went here at the recommendation of my friend. The staff helped us out and their customer service was top notch. They took the time to help us find attire that looked great on us and even made alterations to mine to make it fit better.
