Twin Peaks at Polaris in Ohio.
The family decided to try out TWIN PEAKS. Twin Peaks is basically a more upscale Hooters with plenty of alcoholic choices and lots more women wearing less clothes.
My wife and daughter actually suggested we go there. The atmosphere is what you would expect. We came here for the food and this review is solely based on the food.
We started with the Triple Play ($10.99) house made avocado smash · fire-roasted salsa · chipotle queso · tortilla chips. Unlimited Chips I believe. Priced right and all were very good.
We also ordered the Smoked Chicken Quesadillas ($12.99) in-house smoked chicken · pepper jack · cheddar · green chiles · roasted corn · black beans · pico de gallo · served with fire roasted salsa & sour cream. It was very good, I would skip the green chilies as they over power the dish. Slight complaint, not a lot of food for tts price.
My kids got two Kids Meals. My son got the Mac n Cheese ($3.99) with fries and drink. Great Value. My daughter got the Lil Chicken Tenders ($4.99) with fries and drink.
On to the Main meals My son ordered the Chicken Street Corn Salad ($13.99) grilled chicken · iceberg · charred corn · lentils · Billionaire's Bacon · roasted jalapeños · Parmesan · pico de gallo · green onions · cilantro · tortilla strips · creamy lime vinaigrette · chili lime salt. He enjoyed it.
Wife ordered the 12 smoked wings ($20.99). I tried them, not for me but she really liked them. Only complaint not pricey.
I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak ($12.99) thin sliced sirloin · provolone · peppers · caramelized onions · mushrooms · Italian seasoning · mayo · toasted hoagie roll · served with seasoned French fries. I got mine with no mayo and added A1. I wish this came with lettuce, tomatoes. It was also slightly too salty. Probably would not order again.
Overall our experience was very good. A little bit pricey for a family of five ($90) but I was impressed overall with the food.

Read moreI’ve been a regular at this Twin Peaks location for about three years, and unfortunately, after my experience today, I can’t recommend it anymore.
The food itself can be great when it’s made correctly, and the servers are usually friendly and attentive. But the management is where everything falls apart. My order has been messed up several times over the years, and I’ve never once asked for anything free or discounted—I just want my food prepared the way I order it. Today, when my order was wrong again, the general manager (tall, blonde, glasses) was extremely abrasive. Instead of listening, he cut me off, told me to order something else, and when I refused (because I simply wanted my food made right), he suggested cashing me out and asking me to leave. That is not how you treat a loyal customer who has been patient for years.
The regional manager present (gray hair, English accent, purple shirt) didn’t help either. Rather than addressing the issue, he only tried to defend the GM’s comments. Neither one acknowledged the disrespectful way I was treated.
For context—I’ve been through management changes at this location before, even during the time when staff were fired for serious misconduct, and I stuck around because I enjoyed the food and the servers. I also regularly visit other Twin Peaks locations in Myrtle Beach and Pittsburgh and have never had experiences like this.
But today was the last straw. As a long-time customer, I’ve never felt more disrespected in a restaurant. If management can’t even handle a simple correction to an order without belittling customers, that tells me the leadership is broken. Until there’s real change at the top, I cannot recommend this...

We were a group of 8 people at the restaurant for about 2–3 hours. From the very beginning, the waitress gave us the cold shoulder — no greetings, no basic courtesy, slamming food and alcohol on our table and very delayed service. After ordering beers, we were not even provided coasters or water. Table got messy from frosted glass but the waitress hated the idea of coming to a table where the guests were not white!
To make things worse, we noticed the waitress making remarks about our table to guests at a nearby table.Shockingly, two individuals from that table ended up throwing a salt bottle at one of our group members. When we confronted them calmly, they escalated it and attempted a physical assault. We realized the both the waitress and the guests on the nearby table were uncomfortable with the fact that we were people of color. Been in this country for 10 years but never faced racism like this.
Despite a total bill of around $300 — and given a 20% tip. The service and experience lacked the most basic level of respect, professionalism and safety. What we encountered was not just poor service but a clear bias — likely due to our skin color and the fact that we are immigrants.
This is absolutely unacceptable. We felt unwelcomed, mistreated, and racially attacked. I sincerely hope the management takes this matter seriously, investigates thoroughly (including checking security footage), and ensures that no guest ever goes through something like this again.
Until then, I would strongly advise fellow members of the immigrant community to be careful for their own safety...
