Easton Gateway — Local services in Columbus

The only reason why I rated this place 1 star is not because the businesses are not run professionally or because of the customer service. All of the businesses in this area are fantastic, with very great customer service. The reason why I rated this place 1 star is because of the area that it is in. The East side is the absolute worst area in Columbus, Ohio. All you need to do is watch the news to see proof of this. As such, it's not uncommon at all to see people cause trouble in this area, especially at Easton Town Center. You can count on them causing trouble every single Friday and Saturday night at AMC Dine-In Easton 30. If you're going to go to this place, never, ever, ever go on the weekends, so that you can avoid all or at least a lot of the immature primitives. If you think I'm being crazy, then please don't take my word for it and go see a new horror film on opening night on a Friday and you will see just how bad things can get. Trust me, I used to work here almost 2 years and I can't even tell you how many times people caused trouble. One time, about 10 or 15 teenagers ran past the security barrier to see a movie for free because they don't want to work. They feel entitled and privileged to have everything handed to them. I could tell you every single incident that I remember involving trouble makers in this area, but I will spare you from having to read a post as long as a book. You might be wondering why I'm making this more about trouble makers than I am about this area. It's because they are the only problem...

The Easton area has many different areas now that it's been developed for over 10 years. This area I keep coming back to. The restaurants are easy access, good parking, and comfortable. The unique retail locations are a good blend for those unique restaurants, too. Costco, one of the bigger in the metro area. REI, the biggest store and friendliest staff in the metro area. Currently, the Chuy's with the best bar staff, management and food. Hot Chicken Takeover - a Columbus Original. Melt, over the top huge sandwiches. BJ's Brewhouse, J. Alexander. Pints & Pies offer unique pizza and an assortment of unique beer brands. Ted's Montana Grill - seriously, just go. Dick's and Field & Stream, both well stocked and great sales. Container Store, best staff and organization supplies. Whole Foods, the prices have gone up since Amazon bought them, but the store is clean and...
