I travel with a service dog due to PTSD. I was frowned upon when I walked in even though the person I spoke to the day before said they was pet friendly and service dogs was welcome. One of the employees walked past with what looked like a maid both wearing Extended Stay name tags and said "Service dogs shoud just not be allowed just anywhere." Really well there is a law for this. I will be pursuing this with legal representation. We get into our room and the tv worked which I made sure due to the fact I have trouble traveling with the ptsd and the sound at night shuts out noise that makes me nervous and this hotel is close to interstate. My husband and I and my service animal left to go get supper for it was my husband and I's one year anniversary. We get back and turn the tv on and settle into bed and the tv will not work. Called down to the desk and the gentlemen at the desk told my husband is a very hateful voice he would try to get a hold of someone to fix it but he could not make no promises. He was in and out of our room 4 times. Never did get it fixed nor did he offer us a different room. This was very bad hospitality on your part. I got to spend a night crying trying to sleep being bothered and made nervous by all the noices. What a nice way to spend an anniversary night. We checked out in the am not fast enough I might add and the desk clerk asked how our stay was and i told him and he said nicely I see it wrote down here. Really try staying a whole night in the miserable room. I have never saw a hotel treat someone with disabilities with that much disrespect. We had booked the hotel through Priceline. I called them to seen if my money could be refunded for a horrible stay at this establishment. She said she believed it should be refunded but she could not refund it until she called the hotel. She put me on hold and called the hotel. She came back on and said the hotel would not authorize a refund. This is how customer service works now wow. I will be contacting corporate and news channels. My voice will be heard as discrimination on people with disabilities. This right here is a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreStayed here for 2 weeks for work, and genuinely wish I had checked out and gone next door to the holiday Inn.
Walk into the hotel and instantly there is a smell as of people had been smoking weed, combined with a smell of blocked drains.
3rd floor, has what appears to be water damage in the corridor, alongside the worst smell imaginable, step off the elevator and your hit with a smell of feaces, and rubbish.
The room was infested with cockroaches, and presumably bed bugs, based of the itching in the night and numerous bites.
Toilets were outdated and unclean, in 2 weeks not once did house keeping stop in and clean the room, replace the towels, sheets or to empty the bins.
Extractor fan in the bathroom was literally hanging on for dear life with only 1 put 3 bolts holding it on.
Breakfast was included in the price however this consists merely of a muffin or cereal bar and cold coffee.
This has been the only hotel I've stayed in that I've ever been concerned for my car in the car park or leaving belongings of value/travel documents in the room, as the hotel had a continous flow of people exchanging various items for cash in the car park or behind the hotel. And there was no safe to secure property.
Would not recommend this hotel to anyone, stay elsewhere, the holiday Inn next door was alot better kept, and maintained, with private fenced off areas for guests away from the street etc.
Terrible service, terrible cleanliness, terrible quality charged at...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy husband and I stayed here for two nights. I read the reviews and they were mixed, we decided to give it a shot. It turns out that the poor reviews were accurate. Check in was okay, but the man was clearly not a people person. We took the very slow elevator to our floor. We noticed a musty odor in the hallway while we were going to our room. It kind of smelled like urine and and mildew. Our room was not as clean as it should have been. It looked like the house keeper only dusted around things. The floor was clean, unless you looked under the bed or behind the furniture. The bed linens were clean and fresh, and the pillows were fluffy, however, the bed sounded like it might crash to the floor when we rolled over in it. There was the kitchenette, but nothing in the cupboards and drawers. Also, no coffee pot. We brought breakfast foods to cook, but we had to call the service desk and request the items we needed. My husband stopped by the front desk to ask for a few packets of coffee, and the lady told him she was only permitted to give him two. She went on to say that she had to follow the rules because she was on camera and she could get fired. I thought he was kidding when he told me. The last and possibly the worst thing was the towels and wash cloths smelled like cigarette smoke. We will not stay in this hotel again and we do not recommend it. Read the reviews and believe it when you come...
