Last night me, my fiancĂ© and our little 3 year old daughter tried this place for the first time looking to go some place new for our anniversary we figured we would give it a try. After last night we both decided that we would not return as this place is way over priced and you honestly just paying for the view. So to begin you can not access the top floor aka restaurant via elevator till right at 5pm on the dot the elevator simply won’t let you go up. If you try to call to make a reservation you will not reach anyone but a voicemail as again they don’t open till 5pm. Reservations are only done online (which I found odd sense you have a full staff that could take reservations down stairs). The restaurant does take cash and card so no worries about payment methods here... however be ready to easily spend $150 for a dinner of 2!!!! Upon entering the restaurant it was not very clean as the ceiling desperately needed a fresh coat of paint as you could see all the vent stains from steam/grease exc... coming from the holes above. Also some tables had clothes stuffed under them as well for chairs to keep them balanced sensed they wobble (as are table was one in case). After being seated we were greeted by a young male waiter who I gathered by simple questions I asked was unaware of most drinks they carried (everything is bottle btw no tap $7 for bottle drinks $8 for mixed). We placed an order for crab cakes which we paid $14 for 2 (so not worth it 🙄) and placed our drink orders. During this time me and my fiancĂ© were looking for a child’s menu for our daughter but seen nothing. A few tables from us a couple with a child had a small drink and we were perplexed why at this point the waiter never mentioned a child menu. Once the waiter returned he gave our 3 year old a glass (adult size) and me and my fiancĂ© our drinks. I then asked about a child’s menu to which he replied he was sorry they do have one and read it off for us instead of giving us a menu 😒. Once we placed our order we waited for around 25mins for the food to arrive. The food itself was subpar, very bland and nothing amazing given the price. The sides here are enough to FEED 2 PEOPLE!!! The main corse does not come with sides you must place those separate and pay separate. We got the lobster Mac n cheese $14 which came out so hot we could not eat it for the first 10 mins of our meal, the broccoli which was super bland and is $8 to order and the best side in my opinion and the only one worth it the mashed potatoes in garlic $10. In total we sat and ate for 1 hour the views were very nice especially as the sun set but literally at no point did this restaurant fill up with customers on a sat summer night. We will not be returning as we feel you can go to longhorn and get better food then this.

I'm sure the actual Eighteen at the Radisson is nice, but when I went for my first time it was not actually Eighteens Menu. I had called to see if the restaurant was open, a girl told me yes. So we went for dinner, had been waiting a long time to finally go, my mom and I were so excited to eat at the restaurant that high up and the moving floor. We arrive to the entire restaurant empty. We thought maybe it's just slow for a Monday? We are giving a one sided paper menu with limited options. We were shocked to see how small the menu was. We ordered the steak which was good. Before the food cake out we asked the waitress why the floor wasn't moving? The waitress then tells us that it's not actually open on Mondays and this was the hotel restaurant just using the top floor restaurant for the night. We were so disappointed that we were not told that to start. We asked to see the actual eighteen restaurant menu which was much better than the small one we had ordered from, and we were really upset to know that the day we finally get to go to this restaurant it would not be moving at all. The whole reason we wanted to go was for the moving floor. We had already ordered before any of this came to light so we were stuck with the food we had instead of being able to come back another night. The steak and fries were good. The broccoli was a tiny portion but it was good.

I've eaten here for breakfast and dinner and this review will reflect my overall experience. BREAKFAST: The breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious and had a wide assortment of higher end items to choose from (prime rib, crape & omelet station with staff preparing it for you, etc.). With that said, I believe it was around $30-40 per person. But for the food and experience, well worth it. The restaurant rotates 360 degrees very slowly and has plaques on the wall calling out key building and monuments throughout Cincinnati and Covington as it rotates to define what you are observing in your ever transitioning view. DINNER: The calm & relaxing vibes were there upon this visit. We essentially were able to watch the sunset from the restaurant. It takes about an hour and a half to do a full rotation. For dinner, I ordered their filet mignon, potatoes, and brussel sprouts. It was okay but definitely was lacking on seasoning. A stark contrast to my previous visit. Overall, the staff, aesthetic, and uniqueness of this restaurant is a total win! I cannot rate the food as I had stellar food on one occasion and flavorless food on the next. I guess I will have to return one more time to get a final verdict 😉

Meh pretty much sums it up perfectly!!

Thought this would be a great place for Valentine's dinner... Now I kinda wished I hadn't. We made reservations less than a week before we needed it, and had no problems with that end what-so-ever. Word of advice, go in the 2nd door from the parking lot and take the elevators up. They don't really put any signage up until you're IN the elevator. Tip 2? Pay attention to what letter section you're sitting in, because if you get up to use the restroom, it'll be a lot easier to find your seat again. The restrooms and the lobby stay put, your table does not.

We were seated after a very short wait, next to the window and our server said he'd be with us shortly. They were still sort of busy, but not incredibly. 10 minutes later he finally came back and we asked for a wine list and he was gone again for awhile. We put our food order in and the salads came out pretty quickly, but by what I can only deem a food runner/bus boy/water filler. I saw that kid more than my waiter the entire night! The food came, and it was nice. The steaks were huge! But yes got it medium and it was dry... but not dry dry, it was juicy, it was more like they let it age way too long. was not worth $36. the potatoes were awesome though! And the Riesling was darn near perfect, could have been a tad more chilled, but nice.

Yes the floor moves and I had been told you don't notice it, but you do... I get horrible motion sickness, and after about a half hour i was ready to go and not admire the view anymore. I suggest a table away from the window, maybe one that looks straight out over the city in a cozy booth might be better. The service was severely lacking. I had heard and seen him interacting with other tables, telling them their offerings and what not, when he was not pleasant to us AT ALL. I guess they had a special tasting menu for the evening for $120 a couple, he didn't ask us, but maybe because we were looking at the menu... but we were looking over the highway at the time, so there wasn't much else to look at. He didn't really stop at our table as he was passing through and asking everyone else if they were ok. It was the little things.

Over all, maybe if was staying here, or just wanted a drink, they have a stationary bar, and a few tables, and they have a lounge area, where you can get a drink and sit in nice chairs and just watch the city... that might be nice... but for the food? Not really worth the money, and not even one...

was with a group visiting the Ark and 4 couples decided to go to Eighteen at the Radisson. I’m from N KY so it was my suggestion and I was telling the group how wonderful dining was at this restaurant. I called to make reservations for 8 and was told there would be an $80.00 charge for this reservation. Ok, thus must be great. Arrived on-time and was greeted on the first floor by a young man hollering at my group, “ hey, ya going to eat here? Ya going up to eat?” Kinda not what I expected but hey, it’s a younger guy. Went to the 18th floor expecting to see a crowd, remember the $80 res fee, however maybe 6 tables were seated and no one was waiting. We were seated and after awhile we had all placed our choices for dinner. When the entrĂ©e was presented,WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! Most had either salmon / baked potato or steak / baked potato. Well, that is exactly everything that was on our plate. One piece of protein and a baked potato. No lemon for the salmon, no sprig of parsley as a garnishment, nothing else on these plates. Big white plates that looked naked. Come in. His about dressing the plate!!! Presentation was terrible and this restaurant billed itself as “fine dining”! Our entrĂ©e would have a tough time competing with Applebees or Chilies! Server came by and asked if we wanted dessert which each couple ordered 1 per, to share. Once again, some slices of cake were presented “standing” and some were “laying” on the plate. One lady asked if they had decaf coffee, the server said , as he was leaving the table, w/o turning back to us, over his right shoulder, “I DON’T KNOW”!! Fine dining??? Nope. Not here. This server brought a cluster of forks in his hand which he said, I’ll just leave these here, as he dropped them on the table from 10-12 inches high. FINE DINING?? I think not. Now the bill presentation. We notice a service fee and a place for the tip. One person questioned if the service fee was the tip. He was told, no, that goes to the dishwashers and back of the house employees, a tip is still expected. What was my $80.00 for, someone’s pocket?? Some tipped, some didn’t. At this point I just wanted to get out of there. What I had bragged as a wonderful dining experience ended being a total sham as it was not fine dining. I have tried at least 6 times to call the General Manager but he doesn’t take nor return my calls. I STRONGLY SUGGEST EVERYONE THAT WANTS A FINE DINING EXPERIENCE TO AVOID THIS RESTAURANT!! Terrible and...
