For fast-food Tex-Mex, this is it! Their Chilada is the best I’ve had outside of a full service restaurant. The enchilada is stuffed with meat, beans, cheese and topped with a very flavorful sauce and olives! It’s addicting. It’s under $5. I also get the Super Taco or Super Tostada - both large, filled with ingredients and under $5. Their frijoles are also flavorful and are topped with cheese and taco sauce - yum!! I also love that each item is individually packaged, so nothing gets messy before I get home. This location is attached to a gas station. I always go through the drive through here. But I’ve been to others that are stand alone restaurants. They are few and far between, but worth the drive. PLEASE NOTE - the sauce on the Chilada is salty. If you have a salt sensitivity, you might want it in the side. Almost no parking at this location as it is attached to a corner gas station next to a highway. Some homeless people are sometimes present, but I’ve never experienced interactions with them while waiting in the drive-through line. The line moves fairly quickly even with several cars in front of you. They also have a loyalty...
Read moreTaco Casa never disappoints! The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the taste is consistently crave-worthy. Their tacos and bean burritos are my go-to, and the mild sauce is the perfect blend of flavor and "white people" level of heat. Service is always quick, and the staff is friendly and efficient—even during busy times. I like the man that works the drive through he always greets me with a "hello meester yortich!" [George]. My name is actually Kyle but I'll never correct him.
The only downside to this restaurant is the neighborhood. The locals are all homeless and loaded with crystal methamphetamine. There is also a REALLY culty and deeply conservative church nearby. It's clear they are doing nothing for meth addicts at their doorsteps.
Overall, I have deep affection for this restaurant. They have a loyal customer with me and I look forward...
Read moreWhile not new to the Taco Tuesday tradition at Taco Casa, Hubby and I are newcomers to this location. We've only been a handful of times, but I must say we are thrilled with the change. The staff here are friendly and efficient, the food is always hot and deliscious, and the dining room is always clean. My only complaint, and mind you it is more of an annoyance, is that there is absolutely no where to set or hang a purse or bag in the women's restroom. My options are floor, sink (which is pedestal style, hence no counter), or the dangerous teeter-totter of balancing on my lap while doing my business. None of these are choice options. I emplore you, even a small side table, hell, even a cheap plastic hook on the back of the door... Sanitary happiness for...
