Has potential but our experience wasn't great. We arrived a little early to find that the office is closed mid-day 1-3pm from our experience. The cabin was ok overall, some dirty baking sheets and used grilling utensils but easy enough to wash for our use. Out of 3 nights that we stayed, two mornings we woke up to a hot tub that was 91 to 95 degrees and had error codes. The office doesn't open until 10 am and phone lines were busy when trying to call at times. The gentleman that came to try and fix the issue was very kind. It took a while to get it fixed, had to call them back, so the morning/lunch time plan of using the hot tub was not an option. They did eventually fix it...for the time being. We used it on our last night as well and the next morning it was down to 91 degrees with error codes. Obviously something wrong with it and it really made the experience disappointing as that was the main reason for trying this location out. Our friends stayed in the cabin next to us for 2 nights and arrived to a cabin with no heat working other than space heaters. This problem was quickly fixed with one phone call. The location of our cabin, Rock n river, was great. We had turkeys crossing the river in the mornings. The workers were polite and kind. Just disappointing in the amenities that come with the price not working properly.

I have nothing but good things to say about Brynwood and their staff. The staff were 100% fantastic, from helping me before arrival with questions I had. Assisting me with changing into a larger cabin than I originally reserved. Greeting us with a warm welcome, getting us checked in promptly. Make sure we had everything we needed for our stay, including an extra fan. Also, it was nice to put faces to the names and voices. The property is Great! We had Cabin #12 The Sea Galley, 2 bedrooms with queen beds and a pullout queen couch bed in the living room. Decor was Nautical. Very cute. There was a shelf in the living room that had a bottle with rolled up papers in it. We were not sure if the notes are from past guests but, we added our message to the bottle. Maybe, 1 day the owners will read them. The bottle will definitely need to be replaced or emptied at some point 💖 Big Thompson River flows right in front of the cabins, the sound was peaceful and relaxing. Lots of wildlife elk, mule deer, and even a honey black bear. The bear was on the other side of the river. Bottom line is, this is the PERFECT place in the Perfect town! Thanks for the hospitality, We will be back!!

Spent four nights in Cabin 24 "Zimmer Frei" with our two kids. Overall the stay was wonderful. Best cabin we've ever stayed at in Estes Park and we will most certainly be back. Staff made sure we were comfortable and checked in on us the morning of Day 2 to see if we needed anything. We loved the view, location and most of all, the private hot tub. We went in it every day! The value was also wonderful. We've stayed in smaller cabins elsewhere in Estes and paid more before. We had tons of space and comfort. If we could make Cabin 24 any better, the bed mattresses were pretty worn and appeared aged. It also would have been nice if the staff could have left us a few trash bags in the kitchen so we could take the trash out as needed and not have to visit the office to get new bags. Same with shampoo; one mini bottle for four people for four nights wasn't enough. However, like I said, we'll be back! Thank you for the wonderful stay! We made great memories that we will treasure for a long time!

We arrived at 2:30 knowing that check-in technically was at 3:30 p.m. A sign at the door indicated they would be back at 3 p.m. I came in the office shortly after 3 p.m. to check-in. I mentioned that it would have been nice if the paperwork or website would have indicated that the office is closed for part of the day. The staff person stated that "don't I deserve a lunch". I later found out that they close the office every day from 1-3 p.m. I said it isn't a problem if only I knew in advance that you don't allow early check-ins. The office person once again complained about deserving a lunch and said that I was lucky he was allowing me to check-in at 3 p.m. because he could make me wait until 3:30 p.m. The sign on the door says office hours are from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and "Closed mid-day for lunch". I asked if he would be willing to tell management to post the real hours online along with "no early check-ins" online and in the paperwork sent to avoid the mis-communication. The staff person wasn't happy with me and told me that he won't tell management. I don't mind different rules for a one person office. I just asked questions and then asked why don't they put this information on their website or at least in the information sent to people after they reserve a room.||We really looked forward to using the outside hot tub after hiking which was a big reason we picked Brynwood over other options. We went to the pool to use the hot tub and found it empty and in obvious need of repair. Once again, I wonder why they didn't have this listed on the website. The info sheet they passed out also had one whole section of hot tub rules.||The motel room in the main building had a musty smell to it. The bathroom didn't have an exhaust fan and the ceiling had colored spots and even black spots on it indicating that it was getting moldy from guests showering without an exhaust fan. I could have overlooked this, but with all of the other poor communication explained above that I would never recommend staying...

Our family of 4 stayed in the Bear Haven cabin over Memorial Weekend week and were pleasantly surprised! We stayed here because it was only a short 10-15 minute drive to the entrance of RMNP and it was the perfect location to lots of other restaurants . Floors were clean (no dirty feet!), beds were clean and comfortable, pillows were also comfortable. We appreciated all the cabin decor and all the extra hooks for hanging up towels or jackets. The bathroom was newly renovated and well-stocked with bath towels, face towels, make-up remover toweletts (which I thought was a nice touch), and basic toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, and soap as in hotels. I also appreciated the extra towels provided for using with the hot tub. The kitchen was stocked with plates, cups, eating utensils (for at least 8), a few pots and pans and cutting board (which could use some updating), some basic seasonings like salt and pepper. I was pleased to find a bottle of shared dishwashing soap, a brand new dish sponge, and a dish drying rack under the sink. We loved our hot tub! It was large enough to fit 4 and it worked fine! The only suggestion I have is to maybe add knobs to the kitchen cabinets. The cabinets were pretty sticky and gross feeling. This cabin is closer to the entrance of the property so there isn't much of a mountain view but we didn't have a problem with too much traffic or noise. FYI, there are many other cabins on this property so if you want to be away from other people, this isn't the...

Good but not great... My family and I went up this past weekend for 3 nights, we stayed in the Bear Haven cabin. The cleaning fellow did a good job, it felt well kept on the inside besides a few things like a broken screen door which got annoying after slamming shut all the time. It’s a also a bit dated compared to other cabins in the area. I’ll say that overall I like the feeling of the cabin but be warned it is close to a main road. My biggest knock back was the hot tub. We specifically searched for a place with a personal hot tub and even called ahead to make sure our hot tub was in running order. We were told that it was in perfect shape. Once we got in we realized that more then half the jets didn’t work, and hadn’t been working for some time. This was a huge disappointment since there was 4 of us and only one person could use jets. When we told the maintenance man about it, he was very rude and told us to simply “Take turns” and walked away. This hot tub situation was a real disappointment since we paid extra for a cabin with a hot tub. So if this is why you are going to these cabins, be warned. The front desk staff did apologize and they also gave us a little gift since we were up there for my graduation which was very kind of them. I would recommend these cabins if your looking for a short stay and your not to keen on a fully working hot tub, and you don’t mind being so close to a main...
