If I have to leave the forest and head to town, I normally only enter Harts grocery, NAPA auto parts and the hardware store because that's about all I need before quickly retreating to the hollow. Lately, though, I come to Eureka Vintage to browse the books (local and classic) and see the new stickers (Eureka Mushroom Society has a secret membership), glance at the clothes (who needs clothes) and look at the outdoor gear (that sells so fast, because it's so good). If I'm lucky, the black panther dog will be there in the back, and she'll come out to discuss topics of the past...

Worth the drive! We live an hour away but still don't mind the drive to Eureka Vintage and Outdoor. The shop owner is always helpful & happy to show us all her new finds. Prices are fair and the selection is diverse and fun. We end up buying more then what we came for each time. Dog and kid friendly. Clean and a fun place to visit. Love that we can now shop online at FB Market when we can't...
