Okay, for starters my wife and I went to just about every other furniture store in Humboldt and since we both work, it makes it tough to get to places before 5:30/6pm. Each place we walked in to immediately you see the sales person look at the wall to check the time on the clock and you can instantly see/feel the frustration they had. Totally understandable it’s about quitting time……. Fine. No one asked for our name nor gave theirs, just a hey what are you looking for….. here is what we have…… let me know if you have any questions…. And then they wondered off to continue the nightly routine of shutting things down… again I get it, it’s almost quitting time….. OK HERE IS WHERE IT GETS GOOD….. we walk in to Moore’s Sleep World there is a man sitting at a desk who we learned was Michael. I’m watching him, he looks up at the clock and instantly you could tell it was a different kind of time check….. this was a oh I think there is still enough time to help someone out today kind of glance. After a few short words back and forth he is quick to ask what are your names….. what brings you in this evening…. We explain…. He says I know what you need… he takes us over to the most comfortable bed and has us lay down and he starts a whole demo on all the features. He is asking questions, LISTENING to our answers, learning what we needed/wanted and then ultimately steering us to the right bed. He was extremely knowledgeable and knew so much about what he was selling. You could tell he was very genuine and not just talking nonsense that he heard someone else say about a bed no one knows a thing about. Best experience I’ve had buying anything in all my life hands down! “They say make a Friend before you make a sale”. Well he did just that!...
Read moreMike was super awesome and really went above and beyond to get me a great deal on mattresses for myself and my son. I had already gone to 3 other stores before I walked into Moor's. In each store it was hard to even get anyone's attention even though there wernt many customers. My initial thought walking into this last store was "I'm not gonna find anything here, this place is so much smaller."
Mike greeted me when I walked in the door and asked me various questions to assess what I was really looking for. He was so knowledgeable about mattresses and he had a great friendly demeanor (even though he mentioned he was having a bad day). Sometimes its hard to find quality customer service that isn't soaked in corporate undertones. After some wholesome conversation I was given an offer I really couldn't refuse. I really didn't expect to buy anything that day, but I ended up walking out with 2 mattresses, mattress protectors, and 4 pillows, free delivery at a price so much lower than what the other stores were offering. Read moreI purchased a Plush Italia Firm Full Mattress for $1,150 and it is like sleeping on a rock!!! The display model that I tried was much softer, forgiving and comfortable. They did a bait and switch on me!!! I went in the very next day to complain and they came up with the answer, "oh it was a year old display model that has been worked in, and yours should be more comfortable in 3 - 6 months." Pure scam!!! There is a " NO RETURN OR EXCHANGE POLICY" so I am stuck with this bed!!! I went to Khol's and purchased a $140 3 inch Gel Memory Foam Mattress Topper and my back still aches!!! Now I have to go and buy another $140 3 inch Gel Memory Foam Mattress pad just to see if I can alleviate my back pain!!! Moore's is a terrible Company!!! Don't shop there or buy...
