Walk in, not really busy, a couple orders to fill. No problem. I can wait. But not a single of the three employees said a word to me for a solid 10 minutes.
"We'll be right with you" is a totally fundamental customer service statement if you have things to do. How is this totally lost on people?
So I stood there, invisible to the employees. Eventually sat down hoping I could catch them after they filled the existing orders. Got back up when a new customer walked in and stood at the counter a bit more, finally the guy came up to the register and just stared at me. No "how can we help you" or basic intro of like, okay, im ready to take your order.
The entire time the guy was taking my order it was like a complete inconvenience. There was nothing special about my order. They were out of kale and so I had never gotten any other side so I didn't really know what to get. With an attitude like it was a total inconvenience to tell me what the sides were he pointed to the sign in front of me.
The whole experience felt like they don't want my business and it was an inconvenience that I was buying food here. Totally lame. I don't have very high expectations but a simple hello when I walk in and to let me know that they will get to me soon is like the most fundamental things that people should learn first.
If you don't communicate with your customers they will leave and...
Read moreTheir time management still lacks at this place (on 45th). They need more employees behind the counter and another food-making station. The food and smoothies that they serve is no doubt, good, but the wait time to receive a food order is insane. I (and a handful of others) waited at least 30 mins for food to be made. The wait for my smoothie was way quicker, but by the time I received my sandwich, my smoothie had pretty much turned into cold juice. Even people who made orders online in advance had to wait like 15 mins for the rest of their orders to be made. I totally understand and get that almost every place is short staffed bc of the state that the world is in right now, but on the day that I came to this place there was another employee, ON SHIFT, who eventually came out from the back to help the two young ladies who were clearly struggling to multi-task the taking of the orders and making of the orders, all while people kept walking in and filling up the place. Perhaps there needs to be a four-man crew here? That way if someone is on break, there are always 3 people behind the counter. And maybe, as stated earlier, invest in another food making station, bc it seems as if the food takes WAY longer to prepare than the smoothies. They can clearly afford it as this place is always packed with...
Read moreKelsey is a super disrespectful girl and needs to be retrained about customer service. I came in and asked for my extra smoothie that would be thrown down the drain as waste and she said I had to pay for it. I said well I used to be the assistant manager and we never charged and she said "I don't care you have to pay" literally those words, in such a rude and disrespectful way. I said she doesn't have to talk to me like that and she said " I don't care you were the assistant manager you have to pay". She could've just said "we'll theres a new policy change so we charge now" I would've been okay, but the attitude was crazy and so disrespectful. Telling a customer you dont care as one of the first things out of your mouth is crazy and shouldnt be tolerated. I didn't even argue just asked her name and left and she wanted to be snarky and say have a good day. She needs an attitude adjustment and a talk for real, because I can just imagine how she talks to customers and that's unacceptable. Your assistant manager just stood there also so she needs to be retrained on how to correct her employees behavior. I usually don't leave negative reviews but she really had me seeing red. Will be talking to the...
