Brown Bag Burger + Bar is located on Historic Route 66 in a contemporary, multi-story, stone & clapboard building in a street level casual restaurant & bar, adjacent to the entry of the building's center parking garage. (It is easy to miss on a first time visit.) The burgers are absolutely first rate and delicious! They can be ordered with cheeses, prepared a dozen ways - such as with green chile queso, blackened Cajun style, BBQ with onion rings, Hawaiian style, chili cheeseburger, roasted jalapeños, guacamole, and more. Brown Bag Burger's patties are made from fresh, 7 oz. certified Angus beef served with fries, a side salad, onion rings, or sweet potato fries. You can even "B.Y.O.B." build your own, adding bacon, mushrooms, bleu cheese, a fried egg, or whatever you like. Vegan burgers are also available. Alternatives to hamburgers include chicken breast, pulled pork, carnitas, Philly sliced beef sandwiches & all beef hot dogs. There is a kids' menu, too. The basic bar is stocked with a selection beers, their own Brown Bag Brewery brew, standard hard liquors, and of course, soft drinks. Lunch or dinner is not complete without one of their milk shakes or malted's in 8 flavors. The restaurant has big windows, concrete floors, and exposed ducts that give a modern industrial vibe. The walls are decorated by murals by a local artist inspired by winter and summer in Flagstaff. Paintings feature movie and TV characters, and a few works by local artists. If you're in the mood for a terrific burger and brewski at a place with casual atmosphere anf friendly service, Brown Bag Burger + Bar is the place. Next time I'm in Flagstaff, I'll be back.

It was my first time at BBB, and at first it almost seemed like one of those "hole in the wall" places. However, once we entered it looked really cool, very good vibe, pleasant atmosphere, etc... the only reason I gave 4-stars on Service is because when we came in, the lady at the bar asked as if it was our first time, and we said Yes, so she said "Welcome, sit anywhere." Sonwe did, we looked over the menu and at some point thought that it's taking a server a bit too long, so I got up and walked to the bar, asked if some one will come, or should we order at the bar? And the lady said, "Yes, you order Here." So we did... What I found weird is that since she knew it was her first time, why wouldn't she just say that instead of letting us sit there for 20 minutes waiting for somebody?!?! Besides that everything was great the food was delicious staff was pleasant and caring. Whenever I'll be in flagstaff again I will definitely stop by there.

We were passing through Flag and saw that Brown Bag Burger was here. I used to eat at BBB in Yuma while in the Marine Corps. It's still awesome. Great burgers and really good sides. I had the fried pickles that were close to pickle fries and the Donte's Inferno Burger. My son had the kids' cheese burger and fries. Everything was delicious. Decent tap list, although they had just run out of ipa, and that's my go-to. However, BBB also brews their own beer. I tried their Blonde, and it was solid. I got to chat with the owner, Ian. He was super chill and provided great service. Next time we're in Flag, we'll be back. Oh, and free parking in the garage behind the restaurant.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Brown Bag Burger and Bar, and I must say it was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere instantly made me feel welcome. The friendly staff greeted me with a smile and promptly seated me at a cozy booth.

Let's get to the star of the show: the burgers. Oh boy, they were phenomenal! Brown Bag Burger and Bar truly knows how to craft mouthwatering burgers that hit all the right notes. The patties were perfectly juicy and flavorful, cooked to perfection. The menu offered a wide variety of options, from classic cheeseburgers to creative specialty burgers, catering to all taste preferences. I opted for their hangover burger, and it was hands down one of the best I've ever had. Each bite was pure bliss, with the combination of high-quality ingredients coming together harmoniously. The bun was fresh and soft, perfectly complementing the patty and toppings. It's safe to say I will be dreaming about their burgers for quite some time!

But let's not forget about the onion rings, because they were equally exceptional. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, these golden rings were the perfect accompaniment to the burgers. Each bite provided a satisfying crunch, and the seasoning was spot on. The portion size was generous, ensuring that I got my fill of these delectable treats.

The service at Brown Bag Burger and Bar was outstanding. The staff members were attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about their craft. They were more than happy to provide recommendations and answer any questions I had about the menu. It was evident that they genuinely cared about ensuring their customers had a memorable experience.

The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, with a modern yet rustic aesthetic. It's the kind of place where you can enjoy a relaxed meal with friends or family. The attention to detail in the decor and overall design created a comfortable and enjoyable dining environment.

I must also mention the prices at Brown Bag Burger and Bar. Considering the exceptional quality of the food and the overall experience, the prices were very fair but a little higher than your typical burger joint. It's refreshing to find a restaurant that delivers such incredible value without compromising on taste or service.

If you're looking for a place to indulge in some truly outstanding burgers and onion rings, look no further than Brown Bag Burger and Bar. The combination of their flavorful burgers, crispy onion rings, excellent service, and inviting atmosphere is a recipe for an unforgettable dining experience. I plan on returning to try more of their...

Food was decent, but if you go here be prepared to wait 35-40 minutes to get your food, even if it's a single burger.

I wanted to try the Mac Attack as that sounded so interesting, but sadly they didn't have any Mac Bites so I couldn't try it.

The burger I ordered was good overall, but unfortunately these guys don't season their burger patties just like everywhere else which unfortunately impacted the overall experience of the burger. The toppings were pretty good, but was crippled by the middling, bland, bar of unseasoned beef wedged in the middle of it all...

(And I'm talking no seasoning within the patty. If there was any on the outsides, it hardly matters and does nothing to help to break up that bland beef in between! You have to blend your seasonings throughout the patty for it to be good!)

For the quality of the food, the excessive price was definitely not worth it. Nearly $20 each for burgers with a bland patty they can't be bothered to season? Yeah... That's a joke.

The gal serving us was nice, but I guess management can't be bothered to properly staff the place as they had only 3 workers on shift.

My partner and I only ordered one burger each and they were certainly not busy or having a constant stream of people coming in. There was one party of 8 there and then only a few more tables with only a couple people.

Apparently they were also having to fill Door Dash orders with only the 3 employees. One of which being the hostess, one of those at least being a cook, the third I don't know if they were helping cook or was just stationed for dishwashing, but it was clear that these 3 are not enough to get everything done.

No shade on those 3, it was clear they were doing the best they could, this is just a job that requires more than 3 people to be working on everything for things to go smoothly! Management here needs to stop being greedy and thinking they can cut corners by only staffing the bare minimum...
