I wish there was a half star because I would've given it that I reserved a room for me and one of my best friends coming down from Missouri three years ago it took me this long to cool off to even write a review... first of all it started four weeks prior when I kept getting an email saying the reservation was canceled I was terrified because I had planned this awesome weekend for my friend and I to spend in the so called haunted hotel yes we did get a haunting but before that it was horrible when we first arrived the lady of the house was quite tipsy already yes it was quaint yes it was old we got our room key and unloaded our stuff we walked about a bit then we went to get ready for the night and went to try to get into our room with the key the key broke off in the lock we had to wait for Tina to return from what I guess was a bar when she finally showed up stumbling up the stairs it took about a half hour 45 minutes for us to actually get into our room with her luggage locked in there then we went out and wandered the stock yards had a great time At the stockyards upon returning to the hotel at 10:30 we found a room full of so-called ghost hunters trying to find ghosts which was fine that's what we were there for too however these so-called ghost hunters did not know you actually had to be quiet actually get any sort of noises or ghosts, my friend and I went into our room took some pictures had a great time and decided to go to bed little bit after midnight about 20 minutes later we get in these Knocks on our door we decided to ignore them but the knocks kept coming for 10 MINUTES!!!! well it was drunk Tina knocking on our door to let us know that our room key wouldn't work which we already knew WE WERE ALREADY ON THE ROOM!!!! we laid in bed for the next seven hours listening to the drunk escapades of these so-called ghost hunters laughing And hooting and hollering with some guy from England stomping around drunkenly yelling at the top of his lungs all night ... yes I should say also that loud noises came from the street and the bars Street at closing time around 2 to 30 then we thought finally some peace and quiet nope kept hearing noises yelling and talking at the top of their lungs with miss Tina being rowdy until about five which I finally got 15 minutes of sleep only then did my ghost experience start when our bed started to jump up and down very violently this went on for about 10 minutes yes we actually had our bed shake!!! normally I would've been scared but at this point I was so frustrated with the whole evening and not getting any sleep I kicked the bed and told The ghost to stop it and be quiet which immediately the bed stopped moving and we maybe got 30 minutes of sleep I would've demanded my money back but the way this hotel was run it was not even a question that I would ever get a response from any manager or owner so I just kissed $125 goodbye and decided time actually stay in a real hotel by the way there is no breakfast they should just call this a bed save your money and stay at a...

So I'm on day 3 of my 4 day, 3 night stay. Nice and private hotel. They give you a key to the front door, so not just anyone can walk in. Only one of the 8 rooms has a private bathhroom, they have 3 others that are for All the other rooms.

Parking isn't bad if you're willing to walk about a block or 2 for the free curb stuff. If you arrive early (prior to 730) in the morning, parking can be had nearly in front of the hotel.

The innkeeper and manager are super nice and responsive. They will come early to start coffee for you and get to cleaning rooms and what not.

Definitely an old West feel, every room has its own "name." The rooms by the street are colder than the rooms in the back. Can't explain why but speaking from experience, slept in 3 different rooms so far, the front is colder than the back.

Within walking distance to the Stockyards, a good number of bars and restaurants as well. If you're looking to walk to downtown Ft. Worth this isn't the hotel for that. Close enough to the highway to easily get to Dallas and see the sights there or visit the Federal Engraving and Plating Bureau (it's free, trust me, you'll want to check out how your money is made.)

Miss Molly's is known as being haunted. Can't say for sure if it really is. I did have my door close on me when I went to enter it (room 7) on my first night. It is an old, creaky, uneven building so could have just been the way the building sits and gravity or wind or whatnot.

Anyway, definitely recommend staying here, although, you do need to be aware that a restaurant sits directly below it and a bar directly below them. So it can get smelly and noisy, more so in the front rooms...

The hotel itself was pretty good for historical value, and for that we weren't expecting anything grand. In fact we love the setting and ambiance of the hotel and room itself. The issue is with the inn keeper, she asked us when we would be there to check in, I told her abt 915pm that night as we were traveling back into town and hit heavy traffic and therefore would be late getting in as we had dinner plans with friends abt 45 miss from the stockyards. The inn keeper informed me that there would be a $50 late check in fee after 8pm, CASH !!!! The room has been paid for for 3 weeks at this point, and I haven't heard of a hotel even dealing in cash anymore, like they won't do it. We asked for owners name and number, she gives the main line to the hotel as she was texting from her personal number. Words were exchanged and connection lost. I tried calling back after I was hung up on, and I called 17 times, to the cell phone and main number, refused to answer, we were trying to tell them we canceled our plans to come there and check in b4 8 as she said she didn't legally have to allow us in after 8pm. We get there at 715, and we have to call several more times for an answer and once she didn't answer, we had to wait outside the hotel as the door was locked, for 22 mins in the middle of August in Texas. And once she got there, she was rude and confrontational. Loved the hotel, we were looking for a place to stay once a month in the stockyards, was gonna be this place, but will never stay there again bc of the keeper trying to scam us and still be rude with us abt it when we called her out. Horrible experience bc of...

Miss Molly Hotel in Fort Worth, Texas. Built in 1910. Known as one of Fort Worth’s most haunted sites. The most haunted room at Miss Molly’s Hotel is widely believed to be the Cowboy Room. This hotel was also a brothel in 1940s. 👻 my experience staying in The Cowboy Room: Lights flickered. On the spirit box, a man called me a slut, told me f*** you and said he was evil. Do you dare to stay at The haunted Miss Molly Hotel in Fort Worth Texas 👀 #spooky #haunted #fortworth #texas #creepy

We enjoyed our Saturday night visit! Other than a strong smell of perfume while coming up the stairs, and a few meaningful words from our 'ghost' app (we didn't know they were meaningful until later though), the dead were somewhat quiet. The living on the other hand were much louder, this is NOT the place to stay if you want a peaceful night's rest, lol! Hubby and I finally had to leave around 3 am. The music from the bars, boisterous patrons, bikes revving, and sirens screaming were just a little more than WE had bargained for, but would have been a blast if we had been 20-30 years younger :) We did enjoy our stay in this beautiful old place though, time has definitely taken it's toll, but the charm is still visible everywhere you look :)
