we stayed here arriving in january we booked our stay and they couldnt accomidate us for a full month which we asked for we were about 4 days short of a month so they "couldnt " give us the monthly rate we had to pay the weekly rate which was a considerable amount more, at arrival when checking in, the ladies at the front desk were very nice, then,,,,the lady in the back room , she was a lil older then the others steps out and was very short with us , and not friendly at all, that just ruins in for me, im paying over 1000.00 for a three + week stay havent done a thing and then your not gonna treat me kindly????? sorry but because of people like me you have a job!! it wasnt just me either, i was in there getting change for the over priced 2 washers that they have mind your there is over 1000 spots in there and 2 washers and 2 dryers?? anyway i was getting change and another couple was in there and she was just as rude to them , she needs some training on how to treat and talk to people, shes the grey haired lady in the back office, then we proceeded to our site, the park was beautiful the homes are well kept , we got set up , and finally went to bed mind you quiet hrs are at 10pm which is fine, but at 11:30 pm we were awaken to banging on our door, to be told we were parked on the grass, went out and moved the truck that was not on the grass but hanging over the cement a hair, but ok went back to bed tired as all heck since we drove from pa to florida , to be awaken again at 11:49 to say the truck was still on the grass, i go out and say you have to be kidding, i just moved it, no the other CAR, not truck as he first stated and yes the car was on the grass 1/2 inch, at this point i was upset but moved it, so this just made my stay not so great, especially waking up in the morning to find guys working on my neighbors a full timers house at 7:30 am parking completing on the grass in my front yard with a big box truck,,your got to be kidding, but ok whatever, some people were nice others were mad as hell that we were staying in "their" park no waves or hello's ,,would i recommend this place NO, would i stay here again...NO, like i said its a beautiful park but only if your a full timer over 55 we are in our late 40's but i dont think they liked us there,!!!! and the lady at the front desk ,,im not dealing with that!! Read moreMy parents were vacationing in FL and visited friends who live in this park. They did this 4 years in a row and when they both finally retired, they went back to the park looking to possibly purchase a home there. I didn't want my parents living in a "trailer park", so when they got really serious about buying a place, I went down to take a look at where they were looking at what this "trailer park" was like. WOW, was I surprised! Not at all what I had expected, its a fully fenced property, has a guard house that is occupied 24/7, not a speck of garbage or overgrown grass/palm tree anywhere! ||||Before leaving that week, they found a home that they both liked and made an offer on the spot. They couldn't be happier and neither could we. It is a safe, clean, convenient to everything, friendly, etc....... It's been a year now and they are going to officially spend their first winter in their new Florida house. They left PA for FL and are looking forward to enjoying not only the warm FL weather, but more so the friends, neighbors and acquaintances they have made.||||Prices of units are reasonable, you actually own the land(no monthly lease) and the values go up every year since homes in the park are highly sought after. They are such a good value, we bought a "fixer-upper" and did a full remodel on it. It is going to be a great rental unit for someone and a good investment as well. ||||You simply cannot go wrong visiting ORO, renting a home or purchasing a place in...
