Welcome to raccoon city! Our 5 night stay was cut short after a dangerous event involving a raccoon on our 3rd floor room. This was a byproduct of housekeeping cleaning out the adjacent unit but, leaving the trash in front of the door… overnight! Security did fix the raccoon issue and housekeeping bagged everything back up and left it there again! The property is okay for a family to get away at but, the fact that I booked liki-tiki and got aqua del sol, confused me. Hilton had just taken ivermectin the property so, there was no gatehouse, just construction. The bar located at the waterpark, right behind my room, was popular and we could hear it after the pool closed down at sunset. Speaking of closing down, the other pool was closed for renovations, the bar was shut down as they couldn’t process payments and the recreation center was closed for 2 days straight as it too was being renovated… They place was total chaos and when I went to the local Publix grocery store, I was offered wristbands for the property for $5 each. They were selling them for access to the kids water park and this property. I reported it to Hilton and they knew nothing about it but, it seems that their employees must have taken some to resell off property. We really wanted to like this place however, it should have not been open during the time of total renovation. As per the raccoons, they were not alone either… angry hissing squirrels also inhabit this place so, be careful with small children or anyone with limited judgement as you could easily get hurt… I have pictures to show of our toilet seat not being bolted on, black feet from the rooms floors covered with construction dust and other various issues including the giant raccoon that attacked us! I am unsure if this review will have a place to post that but, I sure hope it does. I forgot to post about no soap or shampoo in the rooms but, one had empty dispensers and the other, they took the dispensers with them, management said there was a shortage of products and gave us 3 one ounce bottles to use for the 5 days. Luckily we left early and just lost those days but? Hilton still got us good… they charged us the property recreation fees for the days that things were all closed and even the days we didn’t stay on property.., I guess this is their way of getting even bigger. Unfortunately, it’s also a great way to destroy a brand when someone posts about this to protect others….

This will be a lengthy and honest review. My family of 4 stayed for a week. We went to Disney World for 4 of the 6 days we stayed. Check- in was a smooth and simple process. The staff was incredibly helpful. They did offer a gift for a presentation on timeshares, but a simple no from me and it was left alone. The room was very nice and clean. Everything you could possibly need was available. A fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, plenty of toiletries etc. We were told to ask for more of anything which we did and was given more laundry soap. We also called for another blanket and it was delivered to our room. The resort itself is under construction. You can tell that they are hard at work updating all of the rooms so to address the reviews mentioning outdated rooms, there may be some still needing updated, but our room was not one of them. The grounds are beautiful with so many amenities aimed toward guest entertainment. Pools, fishing, paddle boats, arcade, bar, general store. It is a truly impressive resort. There are staff everywhere that are willing to help out and answer any questions you may have. After a snag with a rental car we decided to uber. The price to uber from the Disney parks was very reasonable and only about a 15 minute trip. They have a shuttle available, but the times just weren’t what we were wanting. We wanted to get to the parks early. I wish we had more free time to spend at the resort and that it wasn’t so cold when we went. At check-in we were given a schedule of all of the activities available each day such as trivia, karaoke etc. the first day we got in some swimming and the kids did some glow in the dark painting. The art studio has little art projects available all day for a small fee. I paid $8 and my two kids painted a 8x10 canvas to take home so it was extremely reasonable. On site restaurant was pricey, but the food was good. Even some pretty cool wildlife in the ground. Apparently in the lagoon where you paddle boat there are otters. I would stay again in a heartbeat. They went above and beyond to make our stay great! The walls are thin as mentioned in other reviews but it didn’t ruin our stay. The ceiling fan controls didn’t work great but again not that big of a deal. The pros greatly outweigh and cons.

Disappointed by the Lack of Hospitality I stayed at the Hilton Resort for my niece’s birthday, and while we were excited for the weekend, the experience left a lot to be desired. We booked adjoining rooms, but from the moment we arrived, the customer service was off. The gate staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful—offering no clear directions to our rooms and responding with attitude when we asked for guidance. After getting lost on the property due to the lack of direction, I mentioned it to the front desk, only to be told they also deal with the same rudeness from the gate team. That was a red flag. Even by the bar, the hospitality didn’t improve. The staff had no warmth, barely smiled, and acted like they didn’t want to be there. My sister pointed out that 18% gratuity is automatically added to the check—so maybe that explains the lack of motivation to provide great service. I ordered food at the bar, and after waiting over an hour, the server finally came and said two of our sandwiches were ready—they were just waiting on the last sandwich and two pizzas. I asked him to go ahead and bring what was done, but unfortunately, when it arrived, my sandwich and fries were already cold. For a resort experience, I expected a much higher level of hospitality and professionalism. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. If you’re looking to book a hotel where good hospitality matters—this isn’t the location for you. Unacceptable Cleanliness – Couldn’t Even Take a Bath My experience at this Hilton location was incredibly disappointing when it came to cleanliness. I cleaned the tub out twice myself and ran the water three separate times—only for it to still come out discolored, as shown in the photo. It was so bad that I never even got to take a bath during my stay. On top of that, when I tried to take a shower instead, the grout in the shower walls was disgusting—dark, stained, and clearly neglected. For the price you pay and the brand name attached, I expected way better maintenance and hygiene. This room did not meet basic cleanliness standards, and that’s unacceptable.

I booked this resort for 3 nights with 3 adults and 3 children. The whole car was in awe as we were greeted by a security guard and beautiful grounds (that we could see at that point). My husband and I go in to check in and leave our 6 month pregnant friend along with the 3 kids in the car. We checked in and was ushered over to get our parking pass from another desk. At this desk a woman gave us our parking pass, and started talking small talk. "Oh I see your from Indiana. Did you fly or drive" We explained we drove straight through (22 hours) and everyone in our party was exhausted. Then came the time share speil. After about 15 minutes of this and getting offered everything under the sun - a free week at the resort - a week long cruise - plane tickets - a giftcard, we opted out. We may have accepted if we did not have kids and were staying longer. We were also walking zombies at this point. I wish she could have "read the room" so to speak. She very rudly then stood up and exclaimed "Your all set then". We got to our building and thought it was curious that no other cars were parked out front or back. We go up to the room and the smell of marijuana hit us like a ton of bricks at the landing. We also had to shoulder check the door to get it open. Upon walking in the room we found weather stripping for the door was lying on the counter. The outdoor balcony table was in the living room and the room was covered in leaves. We went back down to the front desk and they offered us a new room. We got a different room in the same building. The room looked a little outdated, but at this point I just wanted a shower, food, and a nap. Looking further into the room there was no shower head in the master bedroom. My husband tried to call the front desk with the in room phone and we had no direct line to the front desk. The person that answered the phone was part of the grounds crew or maintenace. He said he would be up with a shower head. We went back down to the front office. I was not comfortable leaving all my things in a room with no one around for someone to come in and have access to. After unloading we planned to go get something to eat. At this point, my husband spoke to a manager. He offered us another room in the opposite side of the complex along with 7000 points. We travel once a year, normally not in the Orlando area, we have an established resort we stay at so we dont generally stay in the Hilton chain. We were grateful for the offer of the points, until we figure out that 7000 points is a joke. It equals out to about $40. We get to this room and its completly remodeled. It looks great. All shower heads are intact and I see beds. Why was this unit not offered to us at the beginning?! We start to look closer at things. There was a hairball in the corner of the shower. The shower gel, conditioner, and the shampoo were almost all empty. The counters look like someone spread salt over them and the door out to the balcony had daylight coming through holes in the bottom of it. You could tell when they redid the unit, the metal strip on the bottom was not as tall as the old one. The holes were from the old strip screws. The walls were paper thin to the point where you could hear normal conversation through them. We had a very loud 3 year old with us. We could also hear our neighbors infant throughout the night. We turned the water on in the kitchen and no less than 10 knats flew out. Housekeeping is obviously lacking. We washed our shower towels as we did not get any new ones. I wish I would have read the other reviews before booking, but the photos were beautiful and misleading. The only good thing in the room was the washer and dryer. It was quick and efficent. The "water park" was ok, it kept the kids busy for an evening. The food was overpriced. I quite literally found things to do outside the "resort" to do. As we had such a short stay and had already paid through a 3rd party booking site, we decided to tough it out. These reviews obviously go unheeded as I have read several of the...

NEVER AGAIN !!!!! I am a hilton Honors member and only stay at hilton Properties even when I am out of the country. This experience may possibly change this. Might be time for me to explore other brands. The first night we arrived security didnt even have my reservation at the gate and I then had to prove that I reserved a 3 bedroom suite (15 mins of going back and fourth with security). My check-in process took me 30 mins, and 3 separate guests checked in while I was standing there. We finally get to our room and settled in and realized that now the heat doesn't work. It was 30 degrees (Fahrenheit) in Fl ! It was pretty cold our whole stay (3 nights) so we didn't get to use any of the water amenities that the property had to offer. We finally get to the room we find that the heat doesn't work !!!!! We then decided to take nice warm showers. Out of the 3 shower heads in our master bath, only 1 of them worked and boy o boy the angle and the water pressure was so horrible. Would of had a better bath in the sink. I had to end up using the shower in my parents room, which I must add had the loudest annoying screeching sound while running the shower. So now that we all have showered at this point it's time to get to bed. I think it was about a couple of hours into sleep and the fire alarm starts blaring!!!! Already frustrated at this point and thinking to myself this must be a joke like candid camera or something. No announcements were made to let guests know everything was OK, after about 10 mins I called the front desk just to make sure me and family were safe. They didn't even say sorry for the inconvenience and had no explanation to why this happened. But THATS NOT ALL, the alarm now goes off AGAIN AT 7AM !!!!! Once again no announcement. At this point I'm ready to pack and leave , My wife somehow changes my mind to stay( I was told a refund couldnt be issued). Now the next day we get back to the property around 10pm, still cold outside but temps in the 40s, my poor 80 yr old grand mother is cold because there is no elevator working and we were staying on the 5th floor . The elevator waiting area is all outside. So now I have to pack everyone back in the car and drive to the front desk to let them know the elevators werent working. We were all tired at this point and just wanted to go to bed. After about 30 mins of back and forth they finally got the elevator to work. Thankfully we get to the room and the heat is now working. Now I'm waiting for someone from guest relations to reach out about all that's been going on. I didn't get intouch with someone until 1 hr before checking out. After explaining all of these ISSUES, I don't even think the manger listened to me. All that was said is " sorry you didn't enjoy your stay we would like to give you 5000 pts ( about $20 bucks when booking with hilton again) to make this right. I spent $1000 for 3 nights. Couldn't use any of the recreational amenities available. Cold the first night and awakened twice abruptly from fire alarms. I usually don't write reviews, but this stay at aqua sol compelled me. Aqua sol NEEDS TO DO BETTER !!!!! Don't make anyone else feel like I did, As if you were doing me favors. I spent money there as a consumer and should be treated with respect and dignity. There is nothing DIAMOND ABOUT THIS...

One of the most disappointing experiences I have ever had. We selected this resort due to its availability and their water park, so that my son would be able to enjoy. It was a quick staycation, getaway. First thing that is important to know, the photos of the rooms are not accurate at all, the advertised renovated rooms are only for a limited amount. When checking in, I was greeted by a renovated lobby with kind staff but who seemed to be rushed, then again it was late in the evening for a check in. I was told that my room was renovated but that couldn’t be less accurate. Our room was very outdated and very dirty. My wife and I had to buy cleaning supplies to bring it to decency. Before we did, I called the staff and they placed me on hold and said at the moment there are no other available renovated rooms to come during check out at 10am the next day to have it changed. We did as asked and was greeted by a very untrained and lost staff who kept giving me wrong information with a supervisor who didn’t bother to speak to me despite three visits. Most of the time I was told to call HGV main phone number to have the room and reservation changed. After 2 hrs of going back and forth I was told that the manger said there are no more rooms only upgrades to town homes. Not once was there no apology for the inconvenience or a shred of empathy given or an attempt to change rooms due to our situation. Only person who was willing to help was the “concierge” Diane who also over saw “tours”. She honestly showed empathy but only way she could help was to move me to a two bedroom but i would need to do a tour which we said no as we already are members and don’t want to waste over an hour out time to be convinced to buy more points. We decided to deal with it and not waste time anymore. The water park was nice, out dated but okay for little ones. The only honest perk about this resort is the location to Disney but other than that the amenities, rooms and staff are very below average for a Hilton product. On the last night the elevator was not working and we were on the 5th floor, when we called to report it the sent over security who basically stated nothing can be done we had to wait till tomorrow and gave a sarcastic apology stating “hey I have to walk up there to to give notices (which was never done). I called the front desk to verify and advised we have a toddler who is asleep to carry along with other items and my wife is pregnant. I was told the same dry apology and not willingness to assist given my wife’s state. While checking out, I wasn’t asked about my stay but instead rushed out but I stated if they can note on my reservation about our poor experience and the elevator issue and I was rushed away with a sarcastic in caring smile saying yeah sure, okay will do. Again no empathy and not once was I ever meet with an attempt to make things right. As a HGV member it truly was a poor overall experience, and extremely frustrating with the lack of customer care on both sides (guest facing and call center). No one accepted responsibility nor cared about guest satisfaction. I strongly don’t recommend this resort unless you have low standards or you are the very lucky few to get a...
