Thx for early check-in. No thanks to a tub that took hours and hours to drain. No No No Thank You to a staff who just doesn't care about complaints, really just could care less. Let me sit and do as little as possible and be of absolutely no help. I could complain about more, but why bother when NO ONE CARES! Breakfast staff are Amazing. Work really hard to keep everyone happy. Why no milk for 2-3 days, really, WHY?? Pretty sad no milk for days. Cheap Cheap owners is why YES YES YES! My first morning at breakfast I had placed on a table napkins silverware milk orange juice pastries etc went back to get eggs biscuit and bacon. Turn the corner and five people who were getting food sat at my table when there were 15 empty tables! Seriously how ignorant and how rude can people be, and then how rude and ignorant and inconsiderate is the front desk staff for doing absolutely nothing about it absolutely nothing and wouldn't even have the manager call me to discuss it. I was very very uncomfortable with these people doing this they were very rude very ignorant didn't apologize and the staff would do nothing about it. They sat at my table and started drinking my drinks and eating my food, seriously. I hope those two adults and five children read this and realize how freaking ignorant and rude they are. I asked to leave even though I just got there for a week stay. I was very uncomfortable and wanted to make sure I would not be charged and get a refund if I left. But the manager never ever contacted me that general manager never ever contacted me the front desk staff never ever contacted me again. They are just as rude and ignorant as the five people that sat at my breakfast table and started to drink my drinks and eat my food ignorant ignorant I will never ever go back to this hotel never! Oh and the elevators only worked one day of the seven I was there thank you very much ignorance again. Dust on the cover for the blinds and curtains is a quarter inch thick I have video of that too disgusting disgusting Dusty nasty dust mites incredible how lazy you can't wipe that off everyday. Again the breakfast staff is amazing and the young lady working breakfast that also helped with my room one day was amazing everybody else thumbs down one rating you lose your lousy train your staff properly. Key Points: No water pressure. Washing your hands and/or showering will be challenging. The beds have not been recently replaced, they are outdated and you will feel the springs in them. The very old and cheaply made bed frame that the box spring sits on will likely be broken to some extent. They skipped the showers when renovatating, so they are outdated and filthy. Last time those shower walls were cleaned was when the building opened. You will likely exit the shower dirtier than when you entered it. Extremely misguided staff. From the front desk to the cleaning staff, the culture amongst all staff members at this location is not customer service oriented at all. It is standard operating procedure and profit oriented. There must be a manager or trainer who is on boarding staff members in a manner that prioritizes strictly following standard operating procedures no matter the extenuating circumstances and protecting profits for the business over customer satisfaction and enjoyment of stay no matter what no exceptions. Only one elevator servicing the entire building. A few of the buttons do not operate and the elevator violently shakes while you are in it between each floor it operates. The cleaning staff also must use this one elevator, and they are trained to take priority over guests so if you and a cleaner with a cleaning trolly are waiting for the elevator, the cleaner will get first priority to use the elevator when it finally arrives. This will happen more often that you think. The breakfast has potential, but the building is too large and too busy. There are too many guests for the amount of food and space provided, meaning that you will wait in long lines just to get to a food station that has run out of food and is not being restocked, only to find that there are no tables or seats left for you to sit at once you've finally gotten a plate of food put together.
The best part of this hotel was that I did not see any bugs during my 7 night stay and for that reason alone, I am giving 2 stars...
Read moreMy husband and I chose to stay here for our honeymoon and even though we were excited to stay here, mostly because we tend to stay at Holiday Inns, we will never be staying here again. The first night we were there, we noticed the room was pretty room and when we tried changing the thermostat that was set to 75, to 70, it wouldn't let us change it. We called the front desk and they told us that sometimes it just takes a little for it to change, but we should notice a change "shortly". Ended up falling asleep and woke up the next morning to go to Disney as planned. We got back the third night and it was down to 70 but then we were woken up at 3 a.m. to both of us sweating and a burning smell coming from the air conditioning unit, and the carpet underneath it soaked. We called the front desk again and only then did they offer to switch us rooms, and in the middle of the night. Every morning at breakfast, the tables were sticky, the pancake maker didn't work half the time, and even when we went at 7:30, the staff was still setting breakfast up, even though it was supposed to start at 6:30. On the fourth day of our trip, we had agreed to go to a timeshare presentation that the man at the front desk reassured us was only an hour and fifteen minutes and would not altar our plans for our last day at Disney. We were scheduled for 8:15, and we did not leave until 11:00. Two and half hours later when we were told an hour and fifteen is ridiculous and unprofessional. We were also told when checking, there would be an incidental charge added for security, which we know is completely normal. The person checking us in, told us that $100 would be back on our card by Friday afternoon after we checked out. It's three days later and that charge still hasn't come back on the card, and when we try to call the hotel, we sit on hold for 20 minutes and then get hung up on. I've never had issues like this with any IHG hotel and I've been staying with only IHG for about five years now.
