Accommodations were great. The hotel fulfilled the requests I submitted when I made the reservation which I truly appreciated. I reserved a room by the creek and you can hear the water flowing. Loved it! It was just a bit cold to sit out there and enjoy the view and listen to the water.

The front desk staff were very nice. They were also busy due to it being the weekend and there was a football & cheer tournament going on.

The room was clean. It was a bit small, especially with the 2 beds in the room. I felt like the room was meant for only one bed. It would've been more spacious.

The bathroom was a decent size for 1 person, but no more than that. There wasn't a lot of counter space. There were enough towels to use and had toiletries available as well. They also cleaned my room daily and replaced my towels with fresh ones.

The breakfast was hot and guests had several options to choose from. I was glad it was available and included with the hotel fees.

I received several text messages from my arrival from the front desk rep, Randelle. I replied to let her know that the TV Guide wasn't working and each of the channels were showing as "No Information". She said she'd send someone, but when we got in the room, it was still showing the same error message.

There was ample parking, but it wasn't well lit. They give you a parking pass to park in the designated parking spots for the hotel. Foot traffic and vehicle traffic was horrendous. To go 5 miles away can take 25-30 minutes because of both traffic. But, it is to be expected being that it is a tourist attraction.

Overall, it was an excellent stay and I would definitely stay...

Our stay at the Hampton Inn Gatlinburg was beyond disappointing and completely unacceptable. From the moment we arrived the issues were obvious. The first room we were given had roaches. Not just one, but multiple, and it became clear why. The door seal was improperly installed which left an open invitation for pests to come and go.||On top of that, the room was filthy. There were literal food stains smeared on the walls that we had to clean ourselves before we could even feel remotely comfortable. The floors were dirty and it was obvious they had not been cleaned thoroughly if at all.||Trying to get ahold of the front desk was another headache. Calls often went unanswered. When we finally reached someone the only solution offered was to move us to another room, which should never have been necessary if the first room had been maintained to even the most basic standard of hospitality.||This entire stay fell far below the quality and cleanliness Hampton Inn claims to provide. Between the pest problem, the lack of cleanliness, and the poor customer service, I can say with certainty that we will never stay here again. Save yourself the frustration and book elsewhere. ||To make matters worse, the pool is being operated in an unsafe condition. There are blocks literally falling off the side of the pool, with only a bit of caulk slapped on as a temporary fix. The missing blocks create edges at just the right height to cause a serious tripping hazard, especially for children. Combined with the overall lack of cleanliness, the pool area feels unsafe, poorly maintained, and not up to the standard of a...

I wanted to share my feedback regarding my recent stay at this hotel. Admittedly, I hadn't checked the reviews prior to my booking, and upon discovering them, I became quite concerned about the ongoing construction noise and parking situation. Now that I'm back home, I feel compelled to share my observations. Our visit took place from July 9th to July 13th. First and foremost, I want to acknowledge that this hotel is undergoing updates and construction, which can ultimately be a positive thing. With that said, I must emphasize that we didn't encounter any issues with the quality of our room. Our particular room, situated in the rear building of the property, could even be considered a suite (complete with a fireplace, although unnecessary in July). Construction activities were taking place around the main lobby and the two buildings that housed the rooms and lobby. The only construction-related noise we heard was an occasional backup horn from a moving bucket truck. Additionally, while some parking spaces were affected by the construction, we personally didn't experience any difficulties finding parking.

One notable advantage of this hotel is its fantastic location. It is conveniently within walking distance of numerous local attractions and dining establishments. This proximity significantly contributed to the enjoyment of our stay.

Although I didn't award the hotel a five-star rating due to the aforementioned issues, I genuinely believe that once the construction is complete, it will meet the expectations one would have for a...

This is an older motel with outside doors. It does have an outdoor pool and hot tub but we visitors in December so I can’t say anything about that. The rooms are nice enough, and clean. The fireplace is advertised and it only worked the first night. It would not turn back on again for us after that. There’s a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and blow dryer in the room. Our queen room had a sofa couch but we didn’t use it. The ice maker on the second floor did not work so we had to go to another floor for ice. Free breakfast is included from 6-10 and was very good. I wondered why there were ear plugs on the night stand when we arrived. I soon learned why. It is quite noisy in the mornings. The cleaning ladies woke me up while cleaning adjacent rooms by talking very loudly, and even singing. We had a late night and needed some rest which was a bit difficult to get in this motel. There is a balcony but it overlooks another motel, however, you can see part of anakeesta from this spot. It was really pretty at night. There was a very large bear roaming the parking lot which was pretty cool. Overall I give them a 3.5 but on here I put a 3. The bed was quite comfy but the duvet was heavy and always sliding off the bed.

We stayed here the week before Thanksgiving. The hotel is going through renovation. That should really make this an exceptional location with Hilton quality. I first have to recommend the rooms along the creek. We had room 319 with two Queens and it had a nice view of the creek with its lovely sounds. It also has a great view of Ober Gatlinburg Aerial Tramway station. It was fun to see the gondolas go in and out through the day and night! The rooms in the other building appear to have a view of the mountains and city, albeit over the parking lot. Regardless, service is again top Hilton quality! I especially wish to thank Anita, Jennifer, and Jeremy, who helped take care of our fridge that had to be replaced. The only thing you have to consider is the rooms are very small in comparison to more modern Hampton properties. But the staff, views, and exceptional downtown location make up for this. Enjoy Gatlinburg!
