UPDATED: wanted to update this review, Mitch visited again and Becky/Tracy again had a great time taking pics! Visit this place when you are in Gatlinburg!
Somewhere in Time in Gatlinburg is the ultimate spot for a laugh-until-you-cry experience, and I owe it all to the mischievous owner Tracy and the genius photographer Becky for making my prank on my brother Mitch the most cringe-worthy moment of his life! I called Tracy to scheme up a plan to utterly embarrass Mitch, and she was all in, cackling at the thought of his embarrassment. Becky swore heâd never forget his Gatlinburg trip, and they made sure heâll be blushing about this for decades!
Tracy had the perfect setup ready when we arrived, and oh boy, did they go all out. They stripped Mitch down and slipped him into fishnet stockings that left nothing to the imagination, handing him a giant blue bonnet with lace and feathers to âcoverâ his⌠well, letâs just say it barely did the job! Then Becky, with a devilish grin, made him climb up on the bar in front of a cheering crowd, striking poses with just that frilly hat to shield his dignityâor what was left of it. The bar, lined with whiskey bottles, only added to the absurdity as Mitch tried to balance while everyone laughed. Becky couldnât stop giggling, saying he was a good sport but looked way too comfortable in those fishnetsâlike heâd been practicing in front of a mirror at home! They even whispered that he seemed to enjoy the spotlight a bit too much, strutting like a peacock whoâd finally found his true calling in those scandalous stockings!
Becky captured every mortifying second and turned the photos into a âWanted: For Crimes of Passionâ poster with a $25,000 reward, now plastered in the shop window for all of Gatlinburg to gawk at. Mitch turned fifty shades of red knowing we have family visiting this summer who will see him in all his fishnet glory, and heâs already dreading his trip backâhe doesnât believe itâll still be up, but Tracy and Becky smirked and promised theyâre keeping it there until he returns and replaces it with another pic. Theyâre already brainstorming what new outfit will make him wear!
On top of the hilarity, Somewhere in Time has the best prices in town for such an experience, and the store is the cleanest in townâeverything is spotless and perfectly organized. Tracy and Becky are a dynamic duo, keeping the vibes high while ensuring Mitch was the main event. If youâre in Gatlinburg, you HAVE to stop by Somewhere in Time for a memory thatâll have you fondly remembering it for years to come.
Thanks, Tracy and Becky, for turning Mitch into Gatlinburgâs most infamous fishnet-wearing âoutlawâ and keeping that poster up to torment him until heâs back for round two! đ
If you visit Somewhere in Time mention this review or Mitchâs infamous pic when you stop byâbetter yet, snap a photo of that âWantedâ poster if itâs still up and post in your review to let us know! Iâm dying to hear if Mitch is still a star in the...
Read moreAVOID this business like you'd avoid getting the Covid virus. Lindsey was the picture taker for us on Sunday June 7, 2020. We walked in first thing she does is not ask but tell half our party to leave next thing she begins yelling at a 4 year old for going near the props. Great start right. NO SIGNS posted outside of dressing room about taking pictures with cell phone so I took one, she again very nastily told me not to so I didn't. Then came into the main room and proceeded to start an argument with me in which h she stated there were 100 other businesses that took the same type photos we could go to ( half the group went to the others). I asked for the owners name and she complied but then started in on me again so I left the shop, immediately called the owner Tracey who refused to hear anything once I stated my name and I was calling to speak with her about an incident with her employee Lindsey......she immediately hung up on me. After going to another business of the same type we were told how many complaints they get about the awful treatment customers receive after entering that store. PLEASE avoid being treated so badly, having your children yelled out. Take your family to any other old time photograph establishment where you will get better treatment, much better quality photographs for significantly less price than this place charges. Even Lindsey seems to recommend going to the other photograph businesses. I wanted to post this so others will know what happens when they walk...
Read moreThe young lady (Olivia?) who was helping our group of four was great, lovely, and professional, it was her first day and she was still being trained. However, the woman training her was the worst human I've ever encountered. She was instructing the young lady on some things and looked at one of my best friends and said "Don't take this personally" then told the young lady that "for bigger girls like her (goes to my friend) you need to take the boa and props and situate to hide their fat, they will thank you later" So incredibly rude. I was shocked. I noticed the mom's jaw drop (her family was waiting to get their pics after us) in amazement of this woman's crassness. My friend ended up crying later because of this insensitive woman. There are a ton of these photo places in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, chose any one of those over this one. Also, for our goofy picture the beast woman told me not to make a particular face that is my go to goofy face. "you'll regret it", I haven't regretted it in any of the photos I've done in the past. Instead I gave that beast woman the stinkiest...
