Why why why did it take 13 minutes to go through your drive-thru this morning? I sat behind a car at the order speaker, and waited for the driver to order. After she ordered, I took my turn. Simple order, 2 breakfast sandwiches. Then we sat. And sat. And sat. Not sure what the staff on the inside were doing, but at least I was certain that when I finally got to the window it would be quick. But NO! A work van got its order. More wait. The lady in front of me got her order. Finally, it was my turn. I tended my transaction, then watched the employee walk over to where the sandwiches come out from the back. I watched her stand there and talk with a person I couldn't see. A different employee got a small bag of food, and passed it to an unseen person at the front counter. Then she did it again. All the while, the drive-thru gal stood there talking to someone. I checked the clock in my car. It had been ten full minutes since I ordered. FINALLY, she was handed my sandwiches. She put them in a bag, and sauntered back over to the window. I asked - as politely as I could - what in the world was taking so long this morning. She shrugged, and said she didn't know.
In no version of a Burger King should it take that long to make 2 breakfast sandwiches. And to not have them made in the whole time I sat there, ready to hand out the window? None of the vehicles in front of me received anything but small bags. No one had ordered suitcases of food. Is Burger King hiring sloths? Read moreI just went here today to eat before work and I went inside. There was no greeting when I got to the counter which isn't that big of deal. The guy who I assumed to be the front counter worker said nothing besides "what can I get you". I ordered some chicken fries and that was all. When I got them, they weren't very good because they were only luke warm. I have got these before at other locations before with fine results but here was terrible.
I was still hungry. So I went up to the counter to get a burger. When I walked up there, he looked at me and walked away. Then he stood in front of the fry station waiting for onion rings to cook and stared at the screen for a good amount of time. There was even a woman who came up behind me in line waiting to get her order taken by the guy just standing there.
There was someone outside in their car who they had pull up because they were waiting on his food to be done. He was out there for over 15 minutes. He came in while we were in line and asked for a refund. They said that they were just waiting on his onion rings to be done cooking. I have worked in a fast food place that serves onion rings before, they only take 3 minutes to fry.
Eventually, I got tired of waiting and left. The woman behind me in line did the same.
Basically, I got poor service (not rude, but uncaring), barely warm food (definitely not fresh), and then no service at all.
After I left, I went to Arby's up the street and got service and food that made Burger King look like a soup kitchen. I don't think I will be returning to this...
