Woke up this morning in need of a nice coffee and light breakfast to start my day. I googled coffee shops near me and was instantly attracted to the name “Verb Coffee” as my plan was a little caffeine and sustenance to get my body activated for the long day ahead. When you follow the gps to this location drive slow and careful as one wrong turn may set your arrival time back a few minutes and can lead to frustration. Anyway the parking lot has plenty of space. The atmosphere is very open, light, and calming. I came on a Friday afternoon and met Cameron. He was very welcoming and knowledgeable and just overall very nice and inviting person. I told him what my mood was and he made his suggestions. I ended up drinking their cold brew and having a light avocado toast. Cameron explained most their products they use other local businesses to supply and I absolutely loved that. There is WiFi and plenty of space for students to hang out and get some work done. Verb Coffee has such a light, airy atmosphere — it instantly puts you in a good mood the moment you walk in. The decor is beautiful and thoughtfully done, giving the whole space a calm, modern vibe that makes you want to linger a little longer. Even the plates and glasses they use add an extra touch of elegance — it really elevates the entire experience.

We tried the Vanilla Latte and the Maple Butter Latte — both were smooth, creamy, and delicious, though I will say they tasted quite similar. I was hoping for a bit more of a distinct flavor difference between the two, but they were still really enjoyable. The food, however, completely stole the show. We ordered the breakfast bowl and the breakfast burrito, and wow — both were phenomenal. The chipotle sauce they drizzle on top is absolute perfection — smoky, creamy, and adds just the right amount of kick.
