The reason we rated it so low, and mind you we never go out of our way to give a rating until this experience. We went on a Friday late afternoon/early evening for dinner. We have a baby so we only get a date night once a month. Thatâs why this was so upsetting because our date night felt ruined. It felt like everyone was talking like robots being overly friendly because they want to be rated as good service, but it was too much. Too much conversation when I just wanted to be on a date with my husband not give my whole story on why Iâm there, our life etc. I donât like how they take your order with a tablet. I donât want technology at the table, just write down my order. it felt a little rushed, our bloom got done a little late which we said was fine we wanted to take our time, but as soon as we got the bloom the food came. They messed up my husbands order forgetting the fries, the chicken was messed up, literally the whole meal. So it was more waiting on things. We had the server, 3 different people from the kitchen including the kitchen manager come bring something we were missing at the table which felt like I was doing a tour of everyone that worked there at this point. Then we had a gift card for a little bit of the order and the rest on our card. We give the server our cards and she comes back with the gift card was used which okay great but then brought a card reader to the table to finish the transaction ourselves with the card. It wasnât explained, just given and honestly we hated it. Like why are we checking out ourselves? It was so weird. Then they asked if we wanted our stuff boxed up but they only boxed the bloom? That was also a little weird. The entire time there was just AWKWARD. They are trying WAY too hard to overcompensate with âgood serviceâ with the way that they talk when they need to just be regular, be normal and just make sure the food comes out right. If they wrote it down and then went to a POS to enter it in they probably wouldnât have made so many errors. It was a hot mess service wise. Luckily the food tasted good, but our date night felt like a dang waste. Iâd rather drive our farther to a different outback or go to Texas Roadhouse next time where I know that the service...

AMAZING! From the moment we walked in to the moment we left! WOW! We had the best server we have had at any restaurant in a while! Be sure to ask for Alyssa when you go!!! THE BEST!!!! She was so knowledgeable and was very honest about different foods we asked about. Paid attention to every second while we where there and made sure we always had what we needed before even needing it!
The food was perfect! Even the chef brought out my husband's plate and explained he had 2 pieces of chicken because the first one wasn't to their standards so they gave him a second one! After our amazing meal we asked for the manager so we could express our gratitude of our experience. Mason, was a pure joy and was very complimentary on the staff, Alyssa, and the chef that had came out. He was proud and was a wonderful representation of what this location is striving to be.
This was a game changer for my family and I. It proves that with the right tools, you can have the best!! Watching everyone work together as a team is not something you see in most places. It truly was amazing all the way around.

   Read moreIt's sad when the server takes your order, for 2 people with different salads, a caesar and an iceberg, and doesn't remember who had which. Every salad I've had here, 3 times, always has some lettuce either wilted or brown from age, I have to pick through it. The 13 ounce rib eyes were full of fat. When the food was delivered, by a runner - not our server, we asked for condiments. And I stated my baked potato was NOT a loaded potato. The runner reached over and touched the potato on my plate. Then pulled her hand back and asked if she could take the potato. I replied "well you already touched it". Unbelievable! The runner NEVER brought the condiments. As I was cutting into my steak a portion of it was still "rare". We stopped a staff member for him to take that portion of my steak back to be cooked (honestly, I thought you aren't allowed to do that due to sanitation regulations). We also asked for the condiments we didn't get and for refills on our drinks. Our server was non-existent for most of our meal. When we finished eating we had 13 ounces or possibly more of fat scraps to take to our dogs. It's our opinion Outback won't last 2 years.
