Stopped there for 1 thing needed. 2 gals at cash registers. Several people in line are waiting in line to checkout. The girl at the main register yelled at an elderly gentleman because he had come in with a Petco shopping cart. He had his little dog with him, so it was obvious he had his dog at Petco. She made him leave the store with the Petco cart. Told him he couldn't have a Petco shopping cart when he was in Ross. He was told to take the cart out, come back in & get a Ross cart, there wasn't any Ross carts at the time. He was rudely told by the gal at the main register that he couldn't enter the store with a Petco cart, he had to leave the store. He then carried his dog & the dogs bed in with him. We had been waiting in line to check out while she was yelling at this gentleman & checking out a customer. This gentleman came back he had picked out a pair of shoes & stood in line holding the shoes, dog & dogs bed. He was several people behind me. I was next to check out. She had me wait while she got all the Ross shopping carts together & rudely greeted other customers. I had 1 item to check out. I waited in line for about 15 minutes. When she was done organizing her carts, she then told me to come up to finally check out my 1 item. She was very rude, never said sorry for the wait, and asked me if this was all I had & I said yes. I was reprimanded by the assocate "guarding" the change rooms because i didnt put the number tags on my hangers when I was leaving. She had various rules and policy lectures for me. Honestly, im shopping with my two kids and just trying to get through the experience, I dont have time for a lot of rules about how I can use the change room. She loudly lamented on her headset to another worker about being unable to leave the changeroom area because there were so many people. Then as i was leaving, the checkout associate put two glass candles loosely in a bag and they broke as I was trying to juggle all of my bags. I bought over $100 worth of things and they did not wrap them or offer to help me to my car. Their carts have bars so you cant take them outside. Went there on a Saturday a few people in line. Took my elderly mother with me period And as we were checking out the two girls in the checkout were very rude we were trying to make conversation and they wouldn't even make eye contact and would answer one word and one girl kept shaking her head at scene people get in line I guess because the line was getting longer. The worst part was you stick your card in to pay and they call the next customer before you're even done, so you're trying to pick up your packages put in your PIN number and get a receipt all at once while there's a customer standing next to you staring at you and their stuff is being put into the register I saw a couple of elderly people having a hard time with that they couldn't get their stuff fast enough to get out of the way and the girls were of course rolling their eyes at them.
