Sure Thing Wedding Chapel — Local services in Las Vegas

Sure Thing is a really, really special place run by the best people. My then-fiancé (now husband), and I were getting married at a wedding we planned for over 100 people in Vegas. With that many people to please, the pressure was really getting to me, and my husband suggested we get married at a more intimate ceremony the day before at Sure Thing so that we could have something that really felt like it was just for us. Sure Thing was actually the place I originally wanted to get married, but we realized we wanted more space for the party we wanted to throw so we found a bigger venue. Anyway, we wanted to book something the day before our wedding and noticed they didn’t have any time slots available that would work for us. I texted them and they immediately opened up a slot for us that worked. I even needed to change the time last minute and they accommodated that, no questions asked.

Amy was our officiant and she was very kind, patient, and professional. We wanted just our bridal party in attendance for this ceremony and had a few people running late but it wasn’t a problem at all. The ceremony itself was so beautiful and intimate and really did feel like it was something just for my husband and me. The photo booth wasn’t working properly when we were there and she let us, along with our friends, take multiple at no additional charge. I’m pretty sure she allowed us a little extra time too since it seemed like there wasn’t anyone scheduled to come in after us.

The space itself is straightforward and gorgeous. I’ve been following them on instagram for awhile and seeing it in person exceeded my expectations.

Sure Thing Wedding Chapel LITERALLY SAVED MY DAY.

My (then) fiancé and I flew out to vegas with my younger sister because we were so sick of trying to plan a wedding in a pandemic! Before we left Boston we booked a reservation for A Little White Chapel and planned to get married there.

HOWEVER, once the three of us arrived all dressed up and ready to be husband and wife, they told us that they couldn’t find a reservation for us anywhere 😭

Thankfully, the two angels that delivered my perfectly unique bouquet and delivered it to A Little White Chapel were there to hear this too and saw me to start to really panic, because I thought I messed up my first duty as a wife (just booking the chapel).

They called Victoria at Sure Thing Wedding Chapel and told her about our situation and she literally met us at her chapel within 20 minutes (I’m pretty sure she was at home and left her house).

The florists drive us there and it’s literally the most charming and cozy chapel I’ve ever seen. Victoria had Elvis playing on the record player when we arrived and I swear the anxiety that my husband and I were both consumed with dissipated.

We paid to have the elopement recorded and pictures taken at the original chapel so now that we changed locations we freaked out a little about nothing to have to remember the day.

Victoria let us take out our phones and set them up on chairs to record to send our family. She read us the most beautiful poem during the ceremony. I clearly could go on and on but I cried for days at the blessing Victoria at Sure Thing Wedding Chapel was. I could not possibly recommend this chapel more. You will have the most memorable, love-filled day.

My now wife and I have been together for more than 12 years, so we decided it was finally time to tie the knot and we were going to Last Vegas to see The Chicks at their residency, so it seemed like the right time and place to get married. In researching wedding chapels in Las Vegas I came across The Sure Thing Wedding Chapel. The web site is super self-explanatory and easy to use. We booked a 15 minute ceremony with a witness and Elvis as our officiant. We arrived 5 minutes before hand and waited for them to let us in (this is the only downside--there's no waiting room and Vegas is hot. The solution is don't show up too early and you can wait under the shaded awning. Not a big deal). Elvis came out right on time and let us in. Elvis was kind and warm and made us feel welcome and special immediately. The ceremony was surprisingly awesome as references to Elvis songs were seamlessly worked into it. It was actually really sweet and meaningful, which we didn't necessarily expect. And quick! After, Elvis graciously took a TON of photos with my phone, and I must say it's clear Elvis has done this a lot, because the photos are great! (Tip Elvis well, as this is a courtesy, not part of the package, and the photos will be wonderful). If you want a classic quick and easy Vegas wedding in a truly unique and authentic setting I can't imagine you can do better than The Sure Thing. It was a wonderfully memorable and fun experience! Afterwards we went right next store to Downtown Tattoo (a fantastic shop) and got matching tattoos as a prelude to The Chicks concert later that night.
