We had such a beautiful stay at the Library Inn! The bed was incredibly cozy and comfortable, and the shower felt luxe and spa-like. I especially loved the vanity mirror in the bathroom — such a thoughtful touch. The lobby was warm and inviting, the perfect place to sit and relax. The complimentary signed book was such a special keepsake to remember our trip by.
Another small but meaningful detail: the sound machine and table fan in the room were amazing. I love falling asleep to thunder, and the white noise was the perfect touch for the coziest night’s sleep.
A few tips for anyone visiting: Chuckwagon is a must for a great meal. If you can, try going to the hot springs while it’s raining — it was absolutely magical. Definitely make time to walk the town and check out all the little gift shops (I missed out by leaving too early!). And whatever you do, stop by Nectar Gelato & Espresso — order a latte with gelato. Chef’s kiss.
Thank you for making our stay so cozy, comfortable, and easy. We can’t wait...

I absolutely loved my stay at Library Inn! From the moment I arrived, the service was top-notch—friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. The rooms are not only clean and comfortable, but each one has a charming library theme that adds a cozy, unique touch you won’t find anywhere else.
The linens and towels were fresh and spotless, and the hot tub was such a relaxing bonus after a day of exploring. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the main strip, but tucked away enough that it stays peaceful and quiet at night.
During my visit, I soaked in the famous hot baths, swam in the big pool (I forgot the name), went tubing on the river, visited the local museum, and did a little shopping. Lava Hot Springs is the cutest little town, especially in summer—it’s like stepping into a Hallmark movie.
If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with charm, comfort, and easy access to everything the town offers, Library Inn is a perfect choice. I’ll...
Read moreWanted to love this darling themed place, but there were several issues. It's not staffed (you just have a room code and a number to text), and so it was a funny bonding experience to have a bunch of middle-aged couples in the lobby at night trying to solve our communal problems (couldn't adjust thermostat and rooms were all freezing, hot tub had murky water, TVs and/or WiFi not working). Rooms each have a sign labeling the book theme, but ours had no interior decor to connect it to Shakespeare (you could at least put up a picture or have one of his books in there). Rooms are very small, and need a table or shelf or more hooks or something to make them more functional. Also couldn't reach an outlet from the bed, which was a problem with my husband's CPAP machine and the phones. On the plus side, it's a great quiet location, and they've done a really nice job...
