Double Decker Fresh Cut Fries — Restaurant in Lava Hot Springs

I’m not one to leave reviews, and I will try to leave a review that is accurate.

1.The location is great and the tourist attraction of the double decker bus is cool. There is outdoor seating next to the river which makes eating and waiting for your food a delight.

The food made me laugh as I was expecting the burger in the photos I saw on google. Some photos show a gourmet burger with a pretzel bun but what I got was a little 3 oz burger that looked with everything thrown together from across the room with oily fries. That was after a 50 minute wait.

I just didn’t appreciate spending 30 bucks for two meals that if it was at a fast food joint would be classified as dollar menu items.

Don't waste your money here. Double cheeseburger was tiny, one iceburge lettuce leaf, tomato and onion on the side. Hot dog was cold. Parm and garlic fries were too salty and soggy, and somehow burnt at the same time. Ordering food was disorganized. Only ate here because we had already walked to this location and had a hungry toddler that didn't want to walk any further. We then waited 1 hr for food to be ready. Only reason why it gets a 1 star is because it is next to the river and you can watch tubers go down. They don't have a restroom to use, told us to go to the portable restrooms on the other side of the lawn/park. They dont let you dine inside the decker bus either. Please...

Your loud music that you blare, hoping to attract customers, totally disrupted my experience while soaking. We stayed at The Lava Hotel, and you are located right next to their private pool. I have stayed at The Lava in the past and came back because of the QUIET private pool, so it was so very disappointing to have to deal with your extremely loud and mostly outdated music while trying to enjoy a peacful soak. Your music can't even be heard from the main street, so all you are doing is hurting another business' business by blasting music as loud as possible. Please consider another form...
