Lava Ace Hardware — Local services in Lava Hot Springs

We've been coming to Lava Hot Springs for years and always enjoyed the friendly small town atmosphere of this lovely place, EXCEPT for the rude, unhelpful and dishonest practice we experienced at this hardware store. Not only do they lack professional customer service from their clerks, the owner is just as unprofessional as those he/she hires. Customer satisfaction is definitely not their goal. Instead of fixing an acknowledged mistake on their end in a product pricing error, we instead were essentially told to take it or leave it and get out. Oh, and the most insulting....we were called "retards" by, I'm assuming, a local resident (I certainly hope he wasn't an employee, but I wouldn't be surprised if he was) who believed he had any business in our interaction in conversing with these three employees. I think a refresher course in business 101 and how to attract return customers is needed for this enterprise. Outside of this occurrence, the shop is fully stocked with just about everything you need except for attention to correct pricing and an unwillingness to honor the price...

I ordered a part for an older truck I own, and it didn't come with the necessary hardware to attach it, and I had no luck finding it at the big box stores along the Wasatch Front where we live. The wife and I were on a quick getaway in Lava, and much to her chagrin, I popped into this Ace location to see, if by chance, they had what I needed. The associate walked us right to the pieces I needed and within minutes, I had what I had been scouring tge Salt Lake Valley...

Excellent customer service every time I go in there! My wife, daughter and I moved to the area last summer and we have project after project because we live 100% off grid. For a small store, they have way more than you would expect!! I’m always created with a smile and a helping hand! You guys are awesome! This store has definitely saved me in my times of need!...
