I’ve been to a decent amount of shops across the country and have just started exploring local card expos/shows and I can say without a doubt this is the best shop I’ve been to. When having conversations with the owner and the other young men who run the shop you can truly see they’re in it for the love of the cards. They have a decent selection of individual cards and slabs but where they really shine is in their selection of wax. Past and present, you will find something that catches your eye and gets the excitement going. Upcoming releases you’re anticipating? They’ll put one aside for you. Repeat customer? Here’s a free pack or supplies. An experience you won’t get at amazon or at any of these expos. They work to build a relationship with you and the shop. Sadly there are many shops that will up charge on newer products where panini may charge 250 and they’ll charge 400. Not hall of fame. For anyone who may read some of these reviews and see any comments like that I say go onto paninis actually site and compare for yourself. Perfect example for you, I love the Spectra line or cards and they were only getting two in and they made sure to put one aside for me until I could get down there. Once I got down there and picked it up I walked away paying less than what panini was charging! Realistically any new releases you’re going to find them at hall of fame and you’ll find them at a price point that’s affordable and realistic. I continue to visit this shop regularly for those reasons and not to mention I’ve had more than a few incredible pulls from them. We need local shops. We need local small businesses that thrive in our communities. And this one small business that I will gladly continue to support that hopefully you’ll...
Read moreI have to say, I was very happy with this shop. Small details is what will make or break with me. My son, my oldest friend and myself have been venturing to different comic and collectable shops. Some much bigger than this place. Unfortunately some of these places (not all) dismiss my son who is 7 and sometimes are rude to him. Which puts me off immediately, and I won't go back. We were out Pokémon card hunting today and came across this place. Very good selection and the manager had no problem letting my son flip through the card collection. Not only that before we left the manager was friendly and made my son feel super special on the way out. A lot of times it is unfortunately lost on store manager's that smaller kids is what is going to keep hard copied cards/ comics and collectibles alive. It was not lost on this shop. My son walked out with a huge smile....we will make a effort to stop by any time we...
Read moreNew to the Leominster area and stopped in this past week to scratch my sport card itch. Place is huge!! Quite overwhelming at first, but was pleasantly surprised by the fair pricing on individual packs, blaster and mega boxes. I don't typically go for the more expensive hobby boxes so I can't really speak on the fairness of price on those. Staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Let me spend as much time exploring and getting to know the shop. They also had a bunch of sports figurines (new & old) / sports memorabilia. Cards on display were more expensive, not sure if they negotiate on pricing but either way, this place is worth checking out!! Nice to have an awesome local card shop nearby.
Side note- If sprots cards aren't your thing, there are a ton of non-sports cards available. I saw comics in the...
