I love Starbucks coffees and will continue to go to other locations, except this one. This has consistently been THE worst Starbucks for years. Other reviewers have already mentioned the issue with this location- the amount of time it takes them to fulfill an order, busy or not, is ridiculously long. I feel comfortable leaving this review because I actually used to work at Starbucks and it was a busier location than this one. Even in a rush, we got orders out on time and the longest someone had to wait was around 10 minutes or so MAX, if we were absolutely packed. Today at this Starbucks, I placed a mobile order at 10:27 AM. I always place mobile orders 20 minutes ahead of time for the Leominster location because that’s how long it takes them on average to complete the order even if all I ordered was a coffee. When I walked in, there were at least 20 people waiting inside. At 11 AM, the woman standing next to me finally received her mobile order and she complained about how incredibly long it took. I asked when she placed her order so I knew how much longer it would be until mine would be done. She placed hers at 10:14 AM. I literally left right then without my order and went to the Athol Starbucks. I placed the same mobile order at that location and when I walked in to pick it up, guess what? It was ready and I left. No exaggeration, it took ONE HOUR for the Leominster location to make my latte. ONE. HOUR. This is absolutely unacceptable on every level. The worst part is that this Starbucks has consistently been this slow for years. I have no idea what they are or are not doing but they need to implement more effective/efficient strategies to fulfill customers orders because I know of others who refuse to stop at this one due to the wait time. I am completely done with this location after today....
Read moreYou walk in at 3pm on a Thursday - get ignored - barista with green hair looks up, ignores, continues making coffee and conversation with 2nd barista. Ok. Now I’m feeling like - no other customer is here, maybe this is drive thru only, now I’m just not sure if I should even be in here. Then the second barista looks at me as I wait in front of the register and continues her conversation with second barista. 3rd barista come around behind the counter - she looks at me awkwardly like - oh no - don’t make eye contact, I don’t want to answer any questions -so I just weirdly stand there trying to figure out what I should do as that barista walks out the door. But then to some of my relief the 2nd barista walks over to me, looks at me then says “what can I get you!?” Now I am relieved - I thought orders weren’t being taken at the counter - so I ask for the white mac-cold brew. Only store I’ve seen in the past 2 weeks that doesn’t have that little cut out sign that indicates they are ‘sold out’ or whatever it says. So baristas number 2 informs me that in-fact they are out of that! I nervously laugh but I proceed to order my back up. While I’m waiting, admitted I’m ashamed that it felt so long, understandably because the drive thru was wrapped around the corner - I notice how messy, dirty and organized this place is. Ultimately just a major let down. I understand why everyone prefers to wait in line in their car. But also, so sad. The few times I’ve come here, it’s always something way off - nothing like my other two regular spots. But oh well - go to the drive thru cuz I really don’t think they want you...
Read moreI’ve worked in customer service since I was 16 and rarely complain. Placed a mobile order at this Starbucks today, left work to go into their location 10 minutes later and it wasn’t ready yet. Okay, I understand how busy they are so I waited. There were 5 people working and not one of them acknowledged me for 15 minutes, and there was one other person waiting for a mobile order other than me. Finally, a worker asked me what the name was under my mobile order and I told them, and received one of my drinks. I had 3 drinks in my mobile order total. Then another customer asked for their food to be reheated and that worker who was taking care of my order stopped what they were doing and reheated the food. Again, I understand they’re busy and trying to accommodate everyone but there were 4 other people working and 2 of them were chatting. Then, another customer walked in and was helped immediately and received their drinks in minutes when, at this point, I have been there almost half an hour. I don’t want to complain and not be understanding of how busy they are but when a customer is standing there and there is no communication or any sense of being apologetic, that's a different story. If someone had addressed me within a few minutes of me being there or apologized, I may have felt differently about this situation. I may as well of just walked in and ordered off the street instead of ordering ahead of time. This location needs more organization, so disappointed. But, of course, it doesn’t matter and people are not going to care because it’s Starbucks. At least my...
