This is a dirty hotel with management and billing issues. My partner was paying a weekly rate, however we had to leave for our home state before our original departure date. Instead of refunding us the remaining balance on our account, they charged us for linen service. Which for 1 we always refused housekeeping service since it was pointless, they never even mopped or swept anyways. And for 2… We would wash our own sheets in the guest laundry area. And they had the nerve to charge me a linen fee instead of refunding my remaining balance. I was so glad I got the receipt printed out for us. There will be a lawsuit pending on this matter. Theft is theft! And we are not the only guests they have done this too so they can’t say it was just a mistake! Would love to see an oversight committee or an auditor truly go over this hotels financial records, could only imagine the crimes being committed. — which this lawsuit may just unveil. Now onto the dirtiness of the hotel ; Walls in all the common areas are gross. Stairwells leading outside the hotel are always filthy. Dirty rug in the elevator almost every day. Sheets and pillow cases are very dingy and stained. We had a garbage bag full of trash set into our room by one of their housekeepers. It wasn’t even our trash it was the room next to us. The top of the cabinets and refrigerator weren’t cleaned in a very long time. I’d be willing to bet months if not longer. Carpets are all stained in the hallways. Walls have dirty hand marks and finger prints all over them. The entire hotel smells terrible most of the time. Enough to give you a headache if you stay in the hallway to long. The housekeepers always smelled like marijuana, especially the shorter blonde lady. Overall this is a 1 star hotel. Terrible management. Unprofessional and rude staff. Dirty, stinky, and a business that is stealing from their guests. I Will be screen shotting and sharing all of this on every local page around the Maumee/Toledo area. Don’t just take my word for it! Read the other guests reviews! If you HAVE TO stay in this area like we did, I would highly suggest going to Candlewood suites which is very close to this hotel, way cleaner, way better management. And Believe me paying that extra little bit on the room rate will be worth missing...
Read moreI stayed here for 12 days on a work trip and was extremely disappointed by the service and accommodations. Although the sheets were clean and the room was as fairly tidy, the beds are insanely hard and uncomfortable and the pillows were flat. I asked for additional pillows at the front counter but was flat out told no. Speaking of the front counter, the attendant who was regularly there could care less about people in front of her. I typically walked past or approached while she had her head down on the desk scrolling through socials or talking to someone who she did not hang up with to answer questions for patrons. I asked the front desk a few times for random things such as towels, pillows, shampoo, soap, etc and each time I was basically told no. I was not allowed to have additional towels unless I brought down my dirty towels. I ended up buying things I needed because I was not going to get service from the staff. The cleaner used on the floors in the room is also very wrong for the laminate wood. It was sticky and left a thick residue on socks, and made shoes sticky on other surfaces. The hallways are absolutely filthy with stains, garbage, grime, and pet hair everywhere (see photos). Garbages we’re changes by someone on the cleaning staff but the bags were dropped just outside the room door and not sealed so everything smelled. The walls were thin but what can you expect for a room that’s less than $80 a night? I also asked the attendee for a “do not disturb” sign so the cleaners would pass my room and leave my personal affects alone. I was told I could not have a sign unless the manager allowed it but they would note my room number to pass. They ignored that note and entered my room 3 times in the 12 days to do sheets, towels, and garbages. I asked the front desk each time to note my room as not to be cleaned.
Overall, I would not recommend this establishment. Pay the extra few dollars a night to stay someplace...
Read moreFirst it took me 15 min to find the hotel...the address in Google is incorrect. I checked in around 1 am after driving over 8hrs and had to wait almost 1 hr to get a room off a prepaid reservation. Two days later, I come to my room from work only to find my room completely empty and all my clothes and items missing. I immediately go to the front desk who tell me that I had never checked into the hotel. I show the girl my confirmation number and reservation information and am totally taken back by the fact that I have a room and my key still worked. I was told that there was no reservation and was handed part of my personal belongings in trash bags without my luggage. I was told that the manager would look into it and let me know what they will do. Later, I was contacted by the manager who was apologetic and sorry and she gave me the first 2 nights for which I wasn't checked in for free...I didn't care since this was paid for by my employer and didn't do anything for me. I was then asked if there was anything missing, I explained that there were electronic devices missing and food items and personal hygiene items. The Manager told me she would purchase the items for me and she returned with the food items and soap that I requested. I was also told that the electronics items were not taken which was a lie. I also realized later that a semi expensive bottle of Rum that I had purchased for a friend at work was missing. The hotel is sketchy and there are a lot of unusual activity happening at all hours. It is not immaculate but not necessarily filthy. I urge anyone that reads this and is thinking about staying here ...."PLEASE DON'T",save yourself time and...
