I got married over the 4th of July weekend and decided to use Marseilles for booking room blocks for us and our guests. We stay here regularly, it’s our go to for south beach. Sus and Heidy were super helpful getting my group block set up with a link I was able to provide to my guest for booking with a group discount. Prices were very reasonable, they were able to accommodate on a few special requests that was very helpful and I was able to communicate when I had questions before our trip. Thank you Sus and Heidy for your help with setting us up! It was also nice to meet Sus when we arrived.
Bruno was amazing during our entire stay and was especially helpful along with Julian when we decided to extend by an extra day. Bruno was very thorough in explaining the amenities to us and all our guests as well. Thank you again Bruno for all your help ❤️. We enjoyed our extra day and room! 🙏🏽
We love this hotel because of the location ( the beach is right there and it’s central for walking to most places), it’s cute and clean, and we love love love the patio and vibe as well as the happy hour. We got food with my parents and they were accommodating helping set up were we wouldn’t get wet, because it was raining. This was a big deal because my parents are in their 80s, but we had just got in and we’re hungry. Didn’t get names for the patio, but everyone was always super kind and helpful with a smile. Service is always excellent!
My one complaint with the patio area is that the hot tub is hit or miss as it’s closed 50% of the times that I’ve visited. The rooms are clean, super cute and comfortable with the exception of the pillows. They are cheap and sooo lumpy. My neck hurt every morning and I got complaints from my family and friends about the pillows too. They’re also 1/2 the size of standard pillows which I don’t mind if they are of good quality. I wish they were feather pillows. I’m pretty sure it will be very well worth the investment. Comfort is important for good sleep so I would suggest for these pillows to get switched out and then I would give 5/5 for room comfort. I’ll plan to bring my own pillow next time. My other feedback is to keep the water container always filled. It was empty more than 1/2 the time when I wanted to get water. It seemed to take way too long for them to get it refilled so I think having two water containers would help with this problem so when one is empty it’s quickly switched out and the empty one prepped to do a swap again as needed. A little maintenance as far as sealing /caulking between the shower head bases and tiles should be assessed as well.
As mentioned before this is our go to spot and will continue to be. We feel it offers a great value and we discover something new about this hotel each time that makes us...
Read moreThis is my second time staying at the Marseilles, two years in a row. The first time, I came with my sister and we were completely blown away and is the reason why we returned for a second time. This time we booked a 3 bed-room and to be honest we’re very underwhelmed by the room size. With us having 3 girls to a room we felt the size of the actual room and layout could have been thought out better to accommodate the amount of guests sharing that space. We decided to voice our concerns to the front desk in which, Bruno the manager listened, and instantly wanted to make it right. He offered to show us two versions of different rooms to see which ones we thought would accommodate us. After looking at both, we were still not impressed. The rooms we were shown are on the smaller side as well as the bathroom. We decided that we could not all fit comfortably as we originally planned with the larger room, into a smaller 2-bed room. So, we asked if it would be possible to have two separate rooms. Bruno, couldn’t promise or guarantee it would be possible but said he would try his best and he did! We were given two rooms to share between the three of us, with no additional charge! I cannot put into words how thankful and happy we all were with this outcome! The service that Bruno provided is unmatched. Aside from our personal experience with our room, I haven’t even got to mention the rest of why the Marseilles is special! You’re greeted by an amazingly beautiful refreshing lobby and the nicest concierge. The backyard area with the pool, hot tub, and bar/kitchen was well designed with guests in mind. The bartenders call you beautiful and make you feel so welcomed like you belong there! The atmosphere is friendly and energetic with the best vibes and the concierge always smiles and greets you with “do you need anything”. The building itself is very old but in a good way because it’s apart of the history of Miami. The beds were extremely comfortable and I was able to get some of the best sleep. The location is top tier with Lincoln Rd. Mall two blocks away, Espanola Way, Ocean Drive and plenty of shops and attractions all in walking distance. It is a beautiful place with amazing staff and although it didn’t start off as expected it ended way beyond that! For that, I would return to...
Read moreWhere do I start? This place was top-notch AMAZING! The location and the service was great! The food in the restaurant was phenomenal and we ate almost everything on the menu. This hotel was a one-stop shop for us. We realized on day three that we needed to get out and explore. We originally booked another hotel and was dissatisfied so I booked here on a whim. You have access to beach chairs, which is included in your reservation fee. The pool is heated or seamed to be so it was never "too cold" to be in it. It was always refreshing and just right! The have pool services so you can ordered some food and drinks around the pool area. They also have a refreshing water stand at all times that is fruit infused. We did have a rainy day, but that was okay because we utilized their pool table and had some good family fun. Between 6-7 every day there was happy hour and you get to order from a huge list of cocktails for $1. That was fun!!! The housekeeper was amazing and cleaned up after my girls mess in our room daily, she didn't have to do that. I did tip her. I appreciate her!!! Front desk staff is lovely and bilingual! Oh and beings we left one hotel and came here, we had to wait a bit to check in. They held our luggage for hours for us, until it was check-in time so we could go explore Miami and not have to tote our luggage around (5 luggages). Then when we checked in they insisted on bringing them up to our rooms for us. They had cornhole, ping pong, and foosball! The location is close to restaurants and shopping. Literally surf style is a 1 min walk and you can buy all kinds of goodies. Now back to the food, order the avacado and corn salad, the crab cake sliders, the chicken wings (and I don't eat chicken off of the bone, but I did theirs!), fries, steak frites, the Marseilles Breakfast, the hammmm mmmmm, and the best pancakes I ever had in my life. They do not even need the syrup, that is lagniappe. The only downfall is the pillows are highly uncomfortable. They deflate under you so bring your own pillow(s). I am sure I could have asked for more, but I didn't so I am not faulting them. I WILL RETURN! I love this place. Thanks for making my family vacation in Miami memorable and easy.
6/27 Second visit! Just as amazing! Service was outstanding! Thanks Gabriel...
