Osprey Pointe is part of the Sandestin resort. Beautiful condo with plenty of space for our four-member family. Two bedrooms. My kids took turns sleeping on a bed and air mattress. The kitchen was big, and some trash bags and dishwasher detergent were provided. The unit also had a washer and dryer with some detergent provided. As a condo, it did not have daily housekeeping service, but there was a trash chute on our floor, so we did not have to go to the dumpster. Pool next to our building. About a 15-minute walk to the bike rental area. A free 4-hour rental of two bikes was provided, and the bikes could be rented for multiple days. I recommend renting bikes early in the day due to possible high demand. The beach was too far for a walk but easy to reach by bike or rented golf carts. We drove to the beach and always found a parking space, though at times it was pretty full. Another option was a shuttle that ran every half hour. Umbrellas and chairs could be rented, and food and drinks could be bought right at the beach. There was also a restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. A mini golf course was within walking distance of the beach. In another direction, there was a "village" with restaurants, a short zip line, and other entertainment. I did not do any regular golfing, so I can't comment on that. Although information about some things was a bit hard to find, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience at this large and...
Read moreMy family and I spent Memorial Weekend here, and we had a great time! The accommodations were excellent - clean and spacious with everything we needed in both the bathrooms and the kitchen. We also loved the nature view from our balcony, which also overlooked an Osprey nest! All the amenities offered at the Sandestin Resort as a whole were fantastic as well...plenty of restaurants, swimming pools, and other activities to do! We also appreciated the close proximity and guest-only access to Miramar Beach, as well as complimentary bike rentals and pickleball time.||My only complaint - the abysmal tram service. There is a clear tram stop at the entrance of Osprey Pointe (at the roundabout), and we watched several trams (red and yellow lines) drive right past. One couple said they had been waiting for a tram for over an hour to get to the beach. My recommendation: skip the tram and just drive to Miramar Beach...there's plenty of parking available and it's a three minute drive. ||Overall great stay, just disappointed that the tram service was not as efficient...
Read moreWe enjoyed every aspect. The condo in Osprey was pretty much brand new, so it was super clean. The staff was nice, and everything (restaurants, shops etc.) was in walking, biking or driving distance (depending on your preference and level of endurance.). The balcony for the 3 bedroom was awesome. We had a lake/marsh view, which was fine because the beach was only a quick drive, bike ride or walk away. Also, the pool was clean, as well as the jacuzzi, and the parking was convenient. We bought groceries and cooked full meals, and also ate out a couple of nights. My only con was that even though it said the condo had two king beds, one seemed to be more of a queen bed. The master bedroom and bathroom was super spacious, then there was another smaller queen bed with a separate bathroom, and another room with a double bed and bathroom right next door. I enjoyed the location, and the price was great for 5 days this time of the year (it was month 4 of COVID). I highly...
