I have been a long time customer of pottery barn. I finally decided to spend the ridiculous amount of money and get a sofa from PB, thinking I would get a good quality sofa. Due to the pandemic, I couldn't see the sofa in person before purchasing. I placed my trust in the PB brand and purchased the Ultra Lounge sofa with reclining chairs and consoles online. It has been a disaster from the beginning. It took months to deliver (it's custom fabric made), which I expected. However when delivered, 1 console was missing, 1 console was broken, and the end reclining chair was broken. I was still understanding at this point. We waited the months it took to replace the broken items. When they finally delivered the new pieces, the new console was also broken and the replacement for the broken end chair was the wrong piece - wrong side of the sofa. So both were sent back. We are still waiting on the broken pieces to be replaced. Meanwhile, after using the sofa with the broken pieces for a few months, one of the reclining chairs (that was not originally broken) has just completely broken and fallen to a lower level from the rest of the sofa. This is literally the WORST experience I have ever had with purchasing new furniture and the most money I have ever spent to have it. I will NEVER buy furniture from PB ever again. Ever. I could go to Walmart and get better quality...
Read moreThis has been an extremely disappointing experience. We purchased multiple pieces of furniture from this location and have received very disappointing customer service after the order was placed. My wife has frequented the store on at least three occasions only to be met with staff who weren’t interested in helping her. Regardless of the fact that furniture takes forever to be delivered, our request for speaking to individuals on the sales floor has been met with irritation and lack of availability. Even today, after waiting since October 22 (today is 3/4/22), our furniture was delivered with multiple issues and my wife was told to wait in line for a sales associate even after speaking to someone on the floor wearing a name tag. Their attitude was poor and the associates responded as if they were completely inconvenienced. We have ordered furniture from “rooms to go “and have experienced wonderful customer service and a much more timely and fulfilling experience. We had a similar type of furniture delivered with zero issues and a much more accommodating staff. To be honest, the materials and craftsmanship does not seem to be very different. I would be happy to give Rims to go my business and replace it more often. Sadly, we won’t refer anyone here or be making any additional purchases from here. Do yourself a favor and...
Read moreBeyond RUDE with attitude. Stopped here just before closing and they were already locked up with a nasty woman closing out her register. I knocked on the glass door. She finally came over and mouthed the words "we're closed" repeatedly. I could hear her, but she pretended she couldn't hear me. My associates saw the entire exchange. I was just trying to see if they had something in stock, so that I could return tomorrow and purchase. (And did I mention they were closed BEFORE the store was supposed to be?)Then, I spotted the item on a table behind her. I pointed at it. She turned to look, then looked back at me, unsmiling and with a nasty look on her face. I just wanted to see if they had one or more of the item. She just kept saying "we're closed". Finally, she yelled thru the glass, "we open at 10am". Well, that did it for me. Listen honey, your little Destin attitude wouldn't last one minute in Atlanta, where Pottery Barn is a huge success. If this is your Manager, you're in trouble. And judging by the...
