We absolutely fell in love with Salt House Nantucket. We’ve truly never experienced the level of 1-to-1 hospitality that was provided by Robert and Jenni, and it made us feel so at home with personal touches. Robert generously picked us up from the ferry and brought us to Salt House. From there, he and Jenni were great in providing recommendations around the island and allowing us to rent their amazing e-bikes which took us everywhere we wanted to see with ease. They even went so far as to spoil us with a room upgrade which blew us away. Light complimentary breakfast provided in the morning allowed us to relax and enjoy the peaceful ambiance of the property. Aside from the hospitality, no detail was missed in the finishes. The room we stayed in was absolutely breathtaking and was the perfect mix of historic and modern. We can tell even bigger and better things are on the horizon for them with their renovation which will be a treat for those who visit in the future. Location-wise, it’s a convenient few minute walk from both the beach and downtown which can’t be beat. We would 100% recommend Salt House Nantucket to anyone visiting the island. We were honestly sad to leave and can’t wait to return. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer to spend more time on-site taking in the additional little touches that make it so wonderful such as the honor bar and fire pits. It’s trips like these that restore our faith in travel experiences.

Wow! We just celebrated our anniversary on Nantucket. The Salt House was a charming well appointed property within easy walking distance to downtown. Jason and Robert checked us in and we mentioned we were going to go rent some e-bikes to bike out to Sankaty Lighthouse. Robert said the hotel had bikes, and a few moments later we were off for the day. They gave great recommendations for dining and then we enjoyed the fire pit and cocktails outside after dinner .They held our luggage for a late ferry departure. We came back to get our luggage and realized our ferry was cancelled. They quickly packed us and our luggage into their Jeep and got us to the port just in time to catch the last ferry for the night. We cannot say enough about how welcoming and helpful the staff were , especially Robert and Jason! We look forward to returning to the Salt House for future visits !

The Brant was hands one of the top Hospitality experiences I've had in a long, long time. Jason the GM was on top of everything and every detail was taken care of during our stay. The staff was friendly, outgoing and helpful with anything you needed during our stay and were knowledgeable about the island and where to explore. The hotel was super walkable to downtown and the option for bikes was a bonus to get around the island. Rooms were clean, beautifully decorated and super comfortable. Location was quiet with beaches just a short walk away and their afternoon happy hour was a great touch to an amazing weekend stay. This will certainly be our go to spot whenever we visit the island. Cheers to Jason and his team for creating such an amazing property. Keep up all your hard work!

Amazing luxury experience from arrival to departure! Alicia and Jordan were our awesome on property concierges and they made it their mission to welcome us and look after us and anything we needed-even before we arrived. We walked from the ferry (so close to everything downtown) and checked in with Alicia on arrival to the warmest welcome, an overview of all the amenities and help with our luggage. The room was brand new, super clean and minimalist modern with a small kitchen that had a stocked fridge with some our favorite beverages, snacks and tons of ice along with a lovely welcome note from Alician and Jordan. We had a little living room, dining table and deck area and porch with porch swings. The bed was very comfortable, and the room temperature controls were perfect. The shower was awesome too. The hydrangeas were in full bloom so there were beautiful flowers all around the property and in vases. They had Adirondacks on the lawn, games and lovely fire pits at night on property. We got great recommendations for local restaurants and activities from Alicia and Jordan. Wow did they think of everything you can imagine making your stay luxurious, smooth and easy: They had electric bikes and regular bikes for us to use anytime along with the cutest yeti cooler that fit on the back of the bike perfectly. They also had beach towels, umbrellas, chairs and even sunblock if you forgot yours! They helped us with restaurant reservations. They even had a jeep for our use, game changer!!! The next morning, they had coffee and a great breakfast set up in the main building where you check in and it was delicious. It was baked breads, muffins, granola, yogurt, toasted artisan breads, jams, juices, bagels and such. Alicia and Jordan were available to us during our stay to assist with so much, including packing the car for the beach and ice for the cooler. We had so much fun on the beautiful beaches, downtown shopping and dining. We truly felt like we were at a home. We met up with friends who were staying down the road and they had to rent bikes that cost $1 per minute and there was absolutely nothing else offered to them to use for the beach or anything.

Wonderful property, wonderful owners and the best onsite property managers/concierge. None of our precious vacation-time was spent on going to the grocery store to stock the fridge and renting bikes and looking online for the best places to go and being on hold to get reservations etc. We had so much fun instead!

Great family place, we will bring our son next time. It is not pretentious but has an elite team of people that will get to know your vacation goals, tastes, expectations and needs – and those of your family, too. They will look after you and your guests, ensuring that your stay is beyond your expectations and a seamless, wonderful experience with great memories.

Thank you for all the hospitality and comfort, we cannot wait to come back next summer!...

I knew I was going to have a good experience right at check in. I walked into the wrong building and a host saw me right away and walked me over to the correct building (I forget her name, but she has helped me twice now and is great!). I arrived right at check-out time and the staff was so apologetic that my room wasn’t ready… it wasn’t even close to check-in time! They had it ready in roughly an hour, hours before I anticipated. I also changed my plans at midnight the night before and added another night through a third party. Without me asking, they changed it around so I could keep the same room.

I walked around town a bit and when I got back I sat in the back yard. I work in hospitality and I noticed one of the poles holding the lights was at a slight angle. Something 99.9% of people wouldn’t notice. Robert walked outside and noticed it right away, even with it being the busiest time of the staffs day, and fixed it. That was all I needed to see. I knew the room would be spotless, staff would continue to be friendly, and I made the right choice booking here. Someone that notices that while they are busy wants perfection. A day into my four day stay for a wedding and I’m already compelled to write a review because every interaction has exceeded my expectations.

Friends of mine are staying at a very nice hotel right near here and are jealous of the Salt House amenities (bikes, ping pong, fire pit, etc.) and what I have told them about the staff. I haven’t left yet and, already, I can’t...

I think SaltHouse just may be the nicest place I have ever stayed, a little bit of Nantucket paradise. Without a doubt, the number one quality has to be the staff. Everyone I interacted with was so nice it was like meeting a new friend. From check-in to check-out, everyone was super helpful and extremely pleasant to talk with. As far as the property goes, without the advantage of size, they have created an exceptional lodging experience in every detail. Neatly designed, exquisitely maintained and decorated, the property has the New England vibe down. But, it's so new I was surprised. Everything looked perfect, worked perfect, was perfect. The location was great, quiet but close enough to the ferry that we could easily walk there with our bags. We were early arriving so they kindly held our bags, had a place to change, provided us with complimentary chairs, towels, an umbrella and directions to the beach a couple blocks down the road. Later, the staff gave us some options for dinner and we were off to see the town. The new quiet mini-split AC unit plus a quiet street equaled a great night's sleep. In the morning, I availed myself of their complimentary breakfast and E-bike for a ride out to Sankaty lighthouse and back before check-out. They again held our bags while we did more tourist stuff before the afternoon ferry back. On the trip back, I reflected on how Salt House made a one-night stay feel like a long weekend vacation, definitely my new place to stay...
