If I could, I would give this service a zero. The experience began poorly with the server being judgmental and pretentious when my friend and I asked about the drink options. Things only got worse from there. The server lost our order receipt, forgot to bring bread to the table, and kept giving us disapproving looks from afar.

I might have overlooked these issues, but the situation escalated. Despite informing the staff about my coconut allergy in advance, there was a serious lapse in attention. When one of the servers brought out our desserts, he mistakenly assumed my friend had the allergy. We corrected him, and he nonchalantly replied, "Oh, okay." We then asked if any of the desserts contained coconut, and he assured us they didn't. This raised concerns since he mentioned the allergy in the first place.

To be safe, we called our original server and asked him to verify with the chef. He returned, clearly annoyed, and confirmed there was no coconut in the desserts. Thankfully, my friends tasted the dishes before I did, and they found no traces of coconut.

While the food was good, the overall experience was marred by the poor service, lack of attention to food allergies, and the clear disparity in how we were treated compared to wealthier guests. If you have a food allergy, beware – the staff's negligence could be dangerous. This restaurant is not worth the risk or the...

Crosby bar afternoon tea teas: only 3 default teas to choose from; there a more specialty menu as well, that's +3 extra (seems like they shouldn't have bothered separating like that) Sweet (mostly too sweet) -- Chocolate cheesecake was very light and soft like a mouse, better one and less sweet. -- Treacle tart - sweeter than sugar itself. Tried a nibble then was done. -- Victoria cake and the pistachio were a bit stale since refrigerated and fillings were very sweet too Savory -- The beef pie was good, nice flaky puff on top of shredded beef -- Potato thing is soso, outside kinda of soggy rather than flaky, and inside potato flavor wasn't that interesting -- Mushroom and onion jam one is tasty Scones were warm. The regular ones were better than the dried cranberry one. raspberry jam was a bit better, orange was pretty sweet and didn't really taste lke orange

Service: They come around specifically to see if seconds of anything is desired. Seconds are complimentary. Reserved for 2, and got seated quickly Friendly service Service was initially good, but then dropped off and difficult to get the check.

Nice ambiance and quiet by front window There's an enclosed courtyard for when it's warmer out,...

Horrible staff. The amount of misogynistic comments I heard behind the bar was just staggering. The minute I walked in, the bartender throws me the menu and proceeds to ask me “what do you want?” No hello, no hi how are you. I of course complain, to the manager who was very sweet but, As I’m drinking my wine, I hear a lady complain about how she asked for a check but didn’t get it before another man did, even though she asked for it first. Understandable, bartenders get confused or caught up. But it was a Monday night…. 8pm….. The lady proceeds to say “oh it’s because I’m a woman”. At first it seemed that she was just upset. But when the lady left, I completely understood why she was upset. The bartenders then proceeded to gossip, literally, while on duty, right in front of me about the situation. One of them is explaining the situation but the other goes, “oh yeah that’s exactly why you don’t get your check first, because you’re a woman”. Joking about the situation!! The same bartender that disrespected me the minute I walked in!! It was just so disrespectful. Can believe they treat people who are spending their hard earned money like this!! If I could give this place negative...

Came here with friends after a nice “touristy” activity at the Museum of Ice Cream, which is nearby. I immediately LOVED the interior of the hotel/bar area, which had a nice tea room vibe. We decided to sit outside (since the weather was nice) and were seated in a nice patio seating area. My friend and I ordered a cocktail to start off with and absolutely enjoyed every sip of it! They were both crafted to perfection and were the perfect drink for the summer :) For dinner, i ordered the french dip panini. The beef was amazing, but I think the highlight of this dish (at least to me) was the focaccia bread they used. The bread tasted AMAZING and honestly would just order the bread itself lol the gazpacho soup, red snapper, rice noodle salad and tuna tartar are other dishes my friends ordered and they had no complaints about any of them (aka they were all delicious)! Finally for dessert, we ordered the lemon tart, which almost looked like a creme brûlée with burnt sugar crystal on top. It was the perfect dish to complete our meal. Overall, I give this place an A++ and will definitely be back for more (whenever i’m in the soho area)!
