Location: Newnan, GA Rating: ★★★★☆
If you're looking for a restaurant that combines great service with delicious food, look no further than La Hacienda of Newnan. During our recent visit, we were thoroughly impressed by the warm hospitality and attention to detail shown by the staff.
Service
From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with friendly smiles and promptly seated. Our waitress stood out for her dedication to getting our order just right. When she was unsure about a detail, she didn't hesitate to come back to our table to clarify. This extra step ensured that everything came out perfectly. Her attentiveness and commitment to our satisfaction made our dining experience even more enjoyable.
Food
The food at La Hacienda was a delightful treat. Although the portions weren't the largest, each dish was flavorful and satisfying. The kitchen team did a fantastic job accommodating our kids' preferences, allowing for a more personalized dining experience.
Our daughter, who loves to build her own tacos, was thrilled when the chef served the meat, cheese, and beans in separate dishes. This small touch made her meal both fun and interactive. Our son ordered chicken nuggets and fries, and he couldn't stop raving about how great they tasted. Importantly, all the food arrived hot and fresh.
Cleanliness
The restaurant was impeccably clean, reflecting a genuine care for the establishment. This extended to the restrooms, which were spotless and featured fully enclosed individual stalls, adding an extra layer of comfort and privacy.
Overall
La Hacienda of Newnan is a great place for a family meal. The staff's commitment to excellent service, combined with tasty, well-prepared food, makes it a standout choice. While the portions may not be the largest, the quality and attention to detail more than make up for it. We left feeling satisfied and appreciated the extra efforts to make our kids' meals special. If you're in the area, La Hacienda is definitely...
Read moreWhen I sat at the bar, I realized the attendant was very busy, so I knew I had to be patient. He put a menu in front of me and went on filling orders. After sitting for 20 minutes he comes over to take my order. First I asked if the paella was the same as the picture. He said no, it’s is not like the picture. So I kept looking at the menu. I decided to go with the shrimp tacos. He asked if I wanted corn tortillas or flour. I said corn. He said do I want my shrimp grilled or fried I said grilled. They bring me back three corn tortillas. I asked him to come over and I said I order corn, he begins to debate with me to tell me no I ordered to flower tortilla. I said no I ordered corn. No I asked you if you want to corn or flour you say flour. I said OK whatever there is a stark difference between corn and flour tortillas to taste. It’s just unique with the corn tortilla. Period he didn’t even try to correct it. What he did was debate with me about what I asked for. I won’t be coming back here.!!!! The manager came over after 20 minutes of talking with the hostess and talking with the guy that waited on me about my order getting messed up asked me if everything was OK. I said no I ate one taco because I felt forced to eat it he said OK you pay for one taco & the beer WTH!!
One taco and beer right he just told me one taco and beer OK OK you’re welcome. (I apologize. My phone picked up our conversation)
The manager came over after me telling him I’m writing a review, HE SAID THANK YOU FOR YOUR REVIEW! SMH! This PLACE IS UNBELIEVABLE! I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNIW ABIUT THIS EXPERIENCE!!!...

The two salsas with the chips were not great. The tomato one tasted a bit too bitter from raw veggies, but I know all salsas are very different. The other chili based one was a nice change, but nothing to write home about.
We ordered sodas… and they were flat as could be. I let our waitress know, and she gladly checked the CO2 machines in the back. She said they looked good. So, we unfortunately decided we had to drink something else that was not carbonated. Not a crisis, just really not what we were wanting at that moment. It’s like going to a bar and they say they are out of beer… and you have to choose liquor when you’re not a liquor fan.
The prices are pretty high for ameri-Tex-mex food, and the flavors are pretty blah. Enchiladas were just salty with very little flavor from any sauce. They were very pretty looking, though….
The beans taste canned or as if they used the red beans instead of pintos. Not really sure what they did to their beans, but they need to NOT do it again. Most metallic and odd tasting refried beans I’ve had in a while. Wasn’t expecting that.
The chicken fajitas portion for $17.50 was very small, and was just unimpressive. Flavor was pretty good, but portion very small for the price. Also, it unfortunately came with a side of more of those beans. The guacamole was pretty bad. Not awful or the worst… just not worth eating.
Our waitress was nice, and the food was not. Left a good tip… and half our plates still full, and will not be back. Can’t recommend.
The atmosphere is nice....
