We wish we had discovered Atlantis Motel decades ago. Our family takes a vacation at Old Orchard Beach every summer. We tried a different place to stay year after year until we discovered Atlantis. We were so proud to say that we’ve just stayed for our third consecutive year, until we met new friends during our recent stay who have lodged at the Atlantis for THIRTY YEARS! Not sure if my wife & I can beat that record, but we’ll surely try. We have priceless photos & memories of our children at the Atlantis. Our favorite part is no driving. We check in, park the car, move in to our suite, and the car doesn’t move until check out time. Our beach tent with all beach luxuries are set up on the most pristine stretch of the beach that lies a short frisbee toss from the beautiful sliding glass door to our suite. The pier, carnival, stores, shops, restaurants, and local recreational activity spots are all walking distance from Atlantis. When we get exhausted from the beach and all of its surrounding luxuries, we step into our air conditioned suite, plop on a cozy bed, and recharge our energy with a good book and/or cat nap in front of the nice flat screen tv. Our daughter usually relaxes in the heated pool. What else can I say. The place is great. Family owned by great people. I’ve met three of them personally. Not to mention friendly & efficient housekeeping with very clean rooms. Recommend book in advance if possible to assure the availability you prefer. There are many rooms to choose from and they sell...
Read more✨ Pros:|• Quiet and comfortable rooms. |• Location|• Clean Beach|• Locality to amenities||👎 Cons:|• None for us|||Stayed here for a weekend as part of our Quebec/New England road trip. After covering several kilometers in hotels in Cities etc, we thought it would be good to stay somewhere with a beach and have a break from driving for a couple of days. On paper, this place seemed to fit the bill after looking at a few google and trip advisor reviews. Of course there will be the odd bad one, but remember! You can't please everyone. We booked through Lisa which saved a few dollars against the usual booking websites, so if you can, book through Lisa! ||The place is ideal for a weekend away, shower is hot and quiet at night when it comes to getting a good night's sleep. You may get an early A.M. train hooting it's Klaxon though but didn't mind it. Room is clean and well serviced, with house keeping coming round each day if you want fresh towels etc. Each room is allocated a parking space so no fighting over spaces. It has a pool but we didn't use it. We spent most of our weekend on the beach! The beach is right on the doorstep so ideal! ||Walking distance to the local town is not long, about 10 - 15mins with plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. ||Many thanks Lisa for making our stay welcoming before our trip back...
