Waited 45 minutes for our food after ordering and about 10 people who came in after us got their food before we did. Eventually we asked how much longer and they hadn’t even started on our sandwiches. The lady at the register wasn’t even paying attention when we ordered so we kept having to repeat ourselves. I stated twice that I wanted a hot coffee because the first time I said it, she blatantly repeated “cold?” back to me, and sure enough, when 20 minutes went by she handed me a cold version of what I ordered. The chocolate donut we ordered was the most basic tasting thing we’ve ever ate at a place that is literally based around their donuts. Another 25 minutes goes by, the shop is now empty, and we ask, “hey, do you know when our bagels will be ready?” And the lady literally turns to blame her coworker saying that she knew we had bagels. If you knew the whole time why didn’t you ask? We sat there with an empty box and empty coffee cup for the past 25 minutes, and they never once thought to ask or double check if we ordered something else. Once we got our food we literally just walked out, no apology from the workers, and no we were not rude, we just waited patiently for the 45 minutes, still said thank you and had manners. I don’t ever write reviews on places, but this service and food was so bad I couldn’t go without saying this. The only decent thing in the shop is the...
Read moreToday instead of our usual Dunkin Donuts, we went to Swillerbee's in Ormond Beach. It was such a quaint little shop and it gives off great vibes that even my 11 yr old Granddaughter picked up on. We ordered a donut each; Saige went with a Duo Chocolate with Sprinkles, Deacon Thin Mint Variety, Kayla a Raspberry fritter and I went with a Coconut Raspberry Haze! Everyone was excited to try them out. The 🍩 doughnuts are very thick almost like a double doughnut! It only cost $11 for all this sugary homemade goodness! Definitely recommend and Definitely going back. Staff extremely helpful and patient with our choosing process! Decor is so adorable! I give it 5 out of 5! Read moreLooked so promising!! The place is so cute- even has a drive thru… which we used to get a sandwich. Was just ok. Next time we visited, we all went inside to pick out some donuts. They look amazing!! Two girls, college aged, behind the counter seemed grumpy to be there and hated being spoken to ab what donuts we wanted… awkward. Then the let down: no one finished any of these donuts!! We tried, bc they’re not cheap at all!! Just not sure how this place is a thing… much better donuts at other places. And while you can expect some rough/cold service when at the register- this is getting old how poor service is when going almost anywhere. Definitely need a refresh here of staff and the recipes. Won’t be back and really would love to say we’d try but the prices aren’t something I’m willing to risk again for just throw away. Not even the Apple fritter (put into separate bag, not in box) was good- how can an Apple fritter not be edible?! The raspberry filling donut- not good, cinnamon roll: completely bland of cinnamon roll flavor, the plain glazed: like a Publix grocery store version, the dirt and worm: the chocolate icing was great but not great pudding… I wish this place the best, really do!! Hopefully they...
