We chose the Jet from a well known hotel finding site. This choice was based solely on 3 factors, price, location, appearance of comfort. Allow me to start by saying the Jet was a GREAT fit for our needs and some of the aspects of this review isn't the fault of the hotel or the private owner of the suite we stayed in.
First price was amazing, there was apparently an event at the Allegiant Stadium but the room rate was not the typical overly increased rate you might expect so that got our attention. Second was location, we were here for a medical appointment and not for a pleasure stay and it's location was only 10 minutes front he office we were going to. Finally was appearance of comfort, the images on the website while having that professional tweak was for the most part exactly what we found without too many angle adjustments to make how room appear larger than it is. The wears were dated but all in a the room was perfect for our needs. There was some damage to the headboard and the lamp shade that looked as though there was at some point a wild night in this room. The only thing that didn't pass the inspection was what appears to be a coffee stain on the top sheet of the bed and since it wasn't apparent in lower levels it might just have been a stained sheet.
The Jetted tub was easy to figure out however there were no instructions given and while that may seem like a silly thing to being up there are many people who have never used one and wouldn't know what to do specifically.
The room has a decent small kitchenette with a cook top and provided pots, pans, plates, and cutlery, this would have been a nice way to cut back on dining experiences if our stay had been longer.
Now for the draw backs.... The Jet is essentially the privately owned vacation rentals within the MGM Signature so we were staying at the MGM signature only without the provided housekeeping and while we never needed it were assured if we called the number on the sign in the kitchenette our needs would be met. The room included adequate towels and extra pillows and blankets for our 2 night stay however of we'd stayed a week it would NOT have been sufficient and we would have needed to request the services of the owners/service provider and we have no idea how that would have gone.
Things that are not the fault of the facility or the room owner is the amount of construction around the area. There are several construction projects going on in the direct vicinity which can make for difficulty navigating around the direct area if you choose this location for the nearby amenities.
Parking....... this was a first for me.... its all Valet. It's a gated facility and you enter a guarded gate and go to a valet drop off. The Valets were AMAZING and accommodated my need to have the vehicle readily available every single time. Very pleased with this..... however..... no guests can come and park here at the property they have to park at the MGM and walk over. While this isn't a major deal you should know this because it makes for having guests more difficult than it is at...
Read moreFirstly, I have booked with Jet Luxury twice - both in Honolulu and in Las Vegas. Never had any serious issues up to this point. However, today changed that.
To begin, as the other reviews show on Yelp, there is nothing wrong with the properties. We love the VDARA in Las Vegas. That said, where things diverge is in the staff and "management" of Jet Luxury. Beyond awful. Wish I could leave a "0-star" review.
I had booked back in July of 2015 for an upcoming trip, and was told to follow up and verify room type a few days before arrival with manager Amanda F. On doing that and leaving a voice-message (never received a follow-up), I called the general line and spoke with an agent and explained that Amanda had advised to call Jet Luxury. Little did I know, apparently the agent went to Amanda and indicated the call was "awkward" and that she felt pressured. Excuse me! Really now? The CEO Richard B. apparently said he listened to a recording of the call; I asked for it, never got a copy sent to me.
Moreover, Amanda (the Director of Operations) then sent an e-mail that was cc'ed to every single Jet Luxury employee including CEO Richard above. She accused me of pushing her employee and making the situation very awkward for her. Then, she went on to say that their agents have many calls daily and that the agent (who gave me the room number of the exact one-bedroom fountain view suite at the complex) ultimately did not know how to address the call properly. I never directly asked for the room number (I had been to VDARA before and wanted to stay in the same room we enjoyed); and, if agents cannot handle a call, why did she not just have Amanda call me back if she seriously was that worried.
I am never booking through Jet Luxury again. A lack of customer service, no respect for loyal customers, and the use of humiliating me as a customer in front of every Jet Luxury employee is completely out of line. Disgraceful company. Go elsewhere to...
Read moreI hope you come across my review before booking with this company. Jet Luxury apparently is not affiliated with the Signature Hotel. We booked the hotel through their website with another family, and both of us paid extra to secure rooms with a Strip view and requested to be placed on the same floor, hopefully next to each other.
Upon arrival, we discovered that we were assigned rooms in different buildings, far away from each other and not on the same floor. When we approached the reception, they informed us that they are part of the Signature Hotel, and we need to contact Jet Luxury. Despite attempting to call them and leaving a message, we received no response, and we were compelled to accept the rooms.
Our friends were placed in Building 3 with a Strip view, while we were assigned Building 1 with a parking view. The next morning, when we called again, we were told that our view of the Valara Hotel counted as a Strip view, despite it being a street view and you see parking car .The additional payment made for a Strip view was not refunded.
Furthermore, our friends found their room unclean, with a pile of dirty towels in the jacuzzi and a full garbage bin. Upon reporting the issue, the front desk redirected them to Jet Luxury, leading to a delay in room cleaning. They were instructed to vacate the room by 11 am the next day for cleaning, when we arrived at 5pm the cleaning crew only came at 4:40pm and leaving them waiting in our room for an additional 2 hours after a long day out.
In our room, the TV was not working, and it was only fixed the following day. Overall, our experience was disappointing, and we have no intention...
