I don’t write many negative reviews, but going here was a nightmare. I had a few dresses I wanted to try on, so I asked the lady at the front if the dressing room was open. She said “probably not, but you can check”. I went to the back and there was a room open. I noticed there were some clothes and a purse in the room. However, all the dressing rooms I’ve been to have leftover garments in there from customers, and this place also sold accessories. It never crossed my mind someone was still using the room.
It was until about 10 minutes or so as I’m trying on the dresses when I hear a knock and voices from two people. The front desk employee angrily told me to get out of the dressing room. I was confused at first, but then realized what has happened. I opened the door half zipped up because of how upset I heard the voices were. I apologized for not knowing it was currently being used, where then the other customer said “kind of hard to believe that with my bag being in there”. Implying I intentionally went in to steal from her. I apologized again. When I moved to the next room, I could hear them both talking about me and how I “could have” stolen from her.
I’m a minority and don’t have the most expensive attire, but I shouldn’t be treated like a thief. I’ve never felt more attacked in my life, and had to compose myself before coming out. I ended up buying the dress, but I honestly regret supporting a company that treats other people in this way. Maybe if you’re a rich white female you’ll be fine, otherwise I’d avoid...
Read moreWas in Vegas and decided to do some shopping while waiting for our show at MGM Grand. Experienced Extremely terrible customer service and clueless staff at PARADISO. We went to the clothes rack marked "additional 30% off SALE PRICE" . We verified with the sales clerk if it meant that we take additional 30% off. She said yes. When we went to checkout, clothes rang up as marked. Clerk then goes to verify with manager in back room and comes back and said that she is sorry, but someone marked the prices wrong. We then asked if they would honor the 30% off the marked price. They shamefully would not honor their mistake. We ended off having to put all of our 8 items back. My wife then found an outfit that she liked. Price tag in size small was marked lower price about ($20 lower )than the size Medium which my wife needed. Well, they would not even honor the SAME price for two IDENTICAL shirts ( except of the size difference). Talk about a size discrimination?? Well, will NEVER go to another PARADISO store again for terrible and unfair...
Read moreDropped in with my wife this afternoon to buy her a dress and some shoes for her birthday. When we came in we didn’t have a care in the world. We were taking pictures. We were on a waiting list for the pool and carting around two bright green floaties. The 20 something sales associate acted put out and dismissive. I was taking a funny picture of me with my green inner tube with my wife being “helped” when the associate snapped at me “you didn’t just take a picture of me?” “No” I said. “Good” she said. “Because you don’t have my permission and I don’t want to be in your picture”. She turned us to another associate to ring us up. Turned out the dress on the sale rack wasn’t half price. Feeling deflate and unappreciated we just thanked her and left. She really wanted the dress. It reminded me of the shop scene in “Pretty Woman”. Regretfully I didn’t stick up for my wife. Only in the movies I guess. Paradiso was a...
