At the back end, if you want to work to help be the backbone of building more tunnels and make this dream happen... don't. Upper management has unethical people who are not held accountable for their performance. Everything is awesome on the front end. The service and the people working for The Loop are great. But the Boring Company is dangerous to work for. Theyre gonna kill someone with the people in charge if they aren't mindful of laws and complaints by employees. I wouldn't be surprised if the project to build more tunnels gets shut down because of highly and needlessly hazardous policies implemented by upper management. Until they are given the boot and replaced with more competent leadership that cares more about their employees rather than themselves, avoid working for the boring company. Its really sad too cause you walk in thinking of this amazing project and you wanna support it, then find out that upper management doesnt like or care about your team. Its demoralizing. They hired good people underneath them. But they themselves are not...
Read moreI went thinking it was going to be super awesome, and I'm the end it was ok. Out still was awesome, but the city won't allow them to use the auto pilot so the drivers have to manually drive in the tunnels, which for them must get boring :) and the auto pilot driving would let them go faster I would assume. But it serves its purpose, and gets people from Worlds Resort to the convention center and to different parts of the convention center without any problems and less walking.
It was funny the Tesla I rode in the sensors were false detecting a semi and other cars around us while we were in the tunnels. I would assume they would need a tunnel mode so it would know it was suppose to be close to the walls, but maybe it'll come in a future update.
There are big plans to go from the airport to many other locations around the strip so I look forward to that. Overall I think it's an awesome idea and it'll help out with traffic and getting people to places...
Read moreIt works great, but what a stupid idea I can understand when drivers wants to bring their own car, they want to be flexible, reach everywhere anytime etc. - for this, that we have roads, interchanges, tunnels, ferries etc. I can definitely understand the case for public transport which aims to be efficient and to serve the masses. Here they took the worse of both it's not flexable - it's a public transport from point A to B (and C and D but that's it) on limited hours and you also have to wait in the station for the car. And it’s not efficient - you can run a train in that same tunnel with much higher passengers capacity and with just a single driver, so inefficient to run tens of teslas each with a dedicated driver that moves 1-3 passengers at a time…it’s like uber or Taxi only with 4 3min...
