Shadow Ridge by All Seasons Resort Lodging — Hotel in Park City

Our recent stay at the Shadow Ridge Hotel room SR-408-1, a charming spot that really took us back in time. The decor, reminiscent of a bygone era, added a nostalgic touch to our visit, evoking fond memories of grandmas house with plates hung on the walls and furniture of a quality that just doesn't seem to be made anymore. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment I checked in. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area, with plenty of quaint shops and local eateries nearby. However, it was clear that the hotel could benefit from some updates; the furnishings and amenities felt a bit dated, which detracted from an otherwise enjoyable experience. One significant hiccup during my stay was a four-hour power outage that occurred in the morning. It made navigating the hotel quite challenging and no staff were on-site to address the issue and reset the elevators, especially as I was trying to get ready for the day. The shower was another minor inconvenience, as the shower head was positioned quite low, making it uncomfortable for taller guests like myself. A goose neck extension which is quite easy to install would alleviate this discomfort while showering. Despite these issues, my overall experience was pleasant, and the hotel's unique charm kept me smiling. With a little renovation and attention to detail, the Shadow Ridge could easily elevate itself to a top-notch...

Check-in and desk people were great. Walked into Room 201-3 and was pleasantly surprised how clean and recently renovated it was, freshly painted etc. But the maintenance of the room was poor. Heating system would give off a loud BUZZ for 10 sec and then stop and then BUZZ of another 2 second - and this happened about every couple hours, hard to sleep through (needed repair). One bathroom, with shower only, was hard to find sweet spot to turn dial to warm shower water, and when you got water temp correct, the shower water pressure was terrible. Other bath with a tub and shower had only one of two glass shower doors. (other was missing - I guess it broke and was never replaced) So using the tub shower was hard to do without spraying water all over the floor. Had wooden blinds to darken rooms to sleep, but one slat was broken and let a big light in from outside - had to hang a hand towel over the bright opening each night. One wall electrical outlet in the kitchen was very loose, slid sidewise a lot when using. Two humidifiers were in room, one was broken and did not work and the other was so small it ran out of water by 5am each night and started gurggling. I did not report this while in room - because I was there to ski, sleep and eat. Who wants to have repair people coming into your room during a stay to fix all this? Maintenance people need to check this stuff...

This was our first time staying at Shadow Ridge Condos (rented through All Seasons Resort Lodging) and the location and unit were great! We will definitely stay at this property again! Located just one and a half blocks from multiple lifts, we were able to walk in our ski boots and carry our equipment from our room to the lifts, easily. And, Utah Ski and Golf has a ski/board rental location located in the lobby of Shadow Ridge with an excellent variety of new/demo ski packages… plus they have a discount for Shadow Ridge guests! Also easily accessible (within one and a half blocks) are a variety of base area restaurants, shops, and the free shuttle station. The free shuttle ride to Main Street shops and restaurants is about a 7-8 minute ride. The walk from our unit to Main Street shops and restaurants is about a 15-16 minute walk (easy flat walk). Highly recommend breakfast at “Harvest” which is an easy 4-5 walk from the unit. Shadow Ridge has an updated lobby, onsite luggage storage (if needed), ski shop, pool, fitness room, and other amenities. Our unit was outfitted with newer finishes and nice furniture throughout with a full-kitchen, dining area (table seating for 6/bar seating for 3, living room (with Queen pullout couch, fireplace and balcony), 2 full bathrooms, 1 King bedroom (with balcony).
