I attended a HOT GLASS COLD BEVERAGES APRES SKI 21+ event at Red Flower Studios. When I arrived, I got to choose a hand-blown glass to keep and use it to buy beer from a stand set up in the studio by Offset Bier, which is located next door. I’d describe the event as an open house.
The crowd of maybe two dozen people was very chill. You socialize, drink beer and watch glass artwork being produced. The artisans making the glass are eager to answer questions and allow you to assist them. Yes, you can actually blow glass, if you want.

They answered all of our questions (and my husband had a lot!) patiently and made us feel comfortable with the entire process. Generally you are supposed to come back the next week to pick up your glass pieces, but we were only there for the weekend so Micah opened it up on Sunday morning so could pick them up before we left. Read moreOur glassblowing experience here was great. Our session was pushed an hour behind schedule because of the holidays, which was fine. We just waited in the parking lot, and the guy who led our experience was great. I thought it was well worth the wait because you have your own private session and get to do so much of the hands-on glassblowing. We left thinking it was the best date and experience that we had ever had.
