Park City Sport - Ski and Snowboard Rentals — Local services in Park City

PCS is on the mountain - note that Google Maps puts their location as up the street from the resort - which is wrong. Park City Sports is physically on the mountain - right as you come walking into the resort you'll find them. We vacationed in Park City and some of us rented at Park City Sports (as well as others at the mountain itself). Park City Sports provided the best gear, the most efficient service, and we got to store our gear there for free. What more could you ask for?

My son went with the twin tips, my wife went with the standard ski package, and my daughter got a helmet. All came out saying they were pleased with the service (no issues with switching boots or helmets or skis) and, after a day of skiing, there were no complaints - what more can you ask for?

And I really liked that we could leave our gear there and walk to and from our condo without lugging a bunch of skis, boots and poles. Because they were so efficient in the morning and the evening rush, I highly recommend...

Overall, I strongly discourage renting from this company for your own safety.

I have snowboarded for 15 years. I went to pick up my board from them and was fitted in a timely manner. However, the boards are far from the "well-maintained, high-quality equipment purchased new every season" that they advertise. In fact, the board I used was 3 or 4 years old and had significant damage to the edge. What followed was the single scariest day of snowboarding in my life. Due to the poor equipment (their bindings are also subpar), I had absolutely no control on either toe side or the heel side. The board felt refused to hold an edge for turns to the point where even going relatively straight was a constant struggle, as the board wanted to pivot beneath my legs. I normally ride blacks/trees, yet on this board I was genuinely scared to ride greens. Ultimately, I had to walk the board back down. For your own safety, I highly recommend not renting...

I cannot recommend Park City Sport enough. They are the BEST place to rent skis, snowboards, or ski blades from in Park City. We had a terrible experience with another (big name) ski shop in Park City. It was so bad that we returned our skis early and came and rented from Park City Sports instead. We had also called about seven places looking for ski blades and Park City Sport was the only shop in Park City that rents ski blades or tricks skis.

Everyone at Park City Sport was so accommodating they did a great job fitting us all. And we’re just super super friendly. The shop is clean and well laid out. I would recommend them to anyone.

We even had an issue where we had rented for two days and we wanted to skip a day and rest, and it was no problem.
